Creampelt stalked slowly through the undergrowth, her greenish gray eyes fixed on a mouse scuffling among the leaf litter about a foxlength in front of her. She waited for a moment and took a quiet step forward, hoping that her pawstep hadn't alerted the mouse. She took two more cautious steps forward, her tail flicking back and forth slowly as she focused on the mouse. But just as she was getting ready to pounce on her target, something spooked it and it darted into a nearby bolt hole.
Quickly, she bolted up into a sitting position, looking disappointed that her prey had escaped, but she didn't say anything. Her eyes darted back and forth as she tried to find whatever it was that scared the mouse and determine if it was a threat. Her muscles were tensed and she was ready to run if something dangerous had scared away the mouse.

"Oh..." The slick gray she-cat paused, her ears lowering with embarrassment. "Oh," she repeated. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, I didn't know that someone was here..." Stargazer took a breath, poking her head out of the undergrowth, her soft voice echoing in the silence. Where had the birds gone? She wondered, freezing in her place. Quiet; she could hear her heartbeat. Was it her own, even? What's going on?
The sound of a bird broke her out of her nearly-two-second-spell, and she continued stepping slowly foward to greet the cat whose pray she'd scared off. "I wasn't being careful," she said sadly. "I apologize for my conduct. I'll leave, if you want to continue hunting." Oh, formalities. However times Silversun tried to get her speech to loosen up, it never helped.

Creampelt smiled and shook her head, her tail curling in greeting to Stargazer. "That's okay, I was just finding something to do to pass the time. You can stay if you want," she mewed, sitting down and curling her tail around her paws. She tilted her head slightly at the other she-cat's formal speech. She also noticed that she had zoned out for a couple seconds. "Is something up?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with slight curiousity.

The warrior's form loosened. "Thank you, comrade." Stargazer's face brightened, and she lowered to her haunches. "I've been doing the same, really. I--...something up?" She repeated, rolling her eyes off to one side. Her smile faltered. Yes, indeed it is, she thought. Something is up. She's correct, she's very correct. "I have just been...feeling rather strange lately," she said. "My dreamstate is...odd...as well. It could almost be described as frightening," she smiled. "If I had not had this happen before. I have, however; it will pass." Stargazer shrugged. glancing at the other cat again. "I...I am sorry, but your name escapes me, comrade..."

Creampelt nodded occasionally as Stargazer explained to her what was wrong. She figured that when the other she-cat said that her dreamstate could be called frightening, she assumed that mean she was having nightmares, and a lot of them from the sounds of things. She gave an encouraging smile when Stargazer said that it would all pass. 'Yes, things like that normally do," she meowed, trying to sound positive. "And I am Creampelt," she meowed, flicking her tail slightly to emphasize the statement.
