[Tara]

" It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing..." The tom sang in his rich baritone as he normally did, Glenn Miller classics. his favorite by far was It Don't Mean A Thing, and Kalamazoo.
His ginger-brown fur parted in the wind for a moment as he was blasted with a gust of cool wind. "Doesn't matter if it's sweet or hot, just sing that thing given' everything you got, oh...!" Dreamchaser smiled to himself, his golden earring glittering in the cool evening sunlight, as he watched the dark tempered kit Doomkit give him a fairly dirty look as she walked by.
He shrugged, going back to what he was doing before. Oh well, everyone thought he was weird. It wasn't uncommon. But he resolved to just humming from then on. Suddenly he stood back to take a look at his creation. Perfect! A common area, held up by sticks and stones, roofed with ferns and leaves...it was great for rainy weather. It stood up against a large rock near the fresh kill pile, something he'd been working on for a while. His reasoning,
" I do hate eating soggy fresh kill." He was hoping this would serve as a storage space, to keep food from getting wet in the wetter months. He was about to show Deathstar, when a delighted squeal came from the nursery.
Doomkit was playing. She ran backward-
Right into a main branch.
" Watch out little one," said Dreamchaser serenely. But she knocked it over anyway, apologizing profusely, he smiled, flicking her with his tail. " It's okay, you go have fun." She smiled, running off. Dreamchaser couldn't lie, he was upset. But Doomkit was upset enough as it was, and it was really no big deal.
" I guess I have nothing for Deathstar today..." He grumbled sadly.

[blue]Runnigpaw walked into camp with Arrowpaw who tried sneaking out again when she saw Dreamchaser she ran over.Hi Dreamchaser.He looked sad.Whats wrong.Then he saw the pile of sticks and stones.Oh why'd it fall over.[/blue][red] Why does it matter why it fell.Her sister snapped.it fell and thats thats end of it.Now if you don't mind Im going t the apprentices den.[/red][blue]Runningpaw sighed Arrowpaw was such a pain in the neck.Dreamchasher why does she have to be rude?Also if you want I'll help you rebuild it.[/blue]

[Tara]

" Hello ladies..." He trailed off as an array of questions hit his ears like a swarm of bees. The cream-brown tom smiled.
" Good point Arrowpaw, I'll keep that in mind." Whether he was being sarcastic or not no one could tell.

Dreamchaser purred affectionately as Runningpaw asked her question.
" Oh my, dear Runningpaw, Arrowpaw just need space. Look hun' " he sat slowly, curling his furry tail around huge paws and sighing heavily. " She's just a grumpy old bat at the moment. But she's young-you're both young, there'll be something that'll make her change her ways, don' worry missy." He called most she-cats missy or lass. He looked down on her with his yellow eyes sparkling. " But, thank you for your offer. I need to rethink this design though, if it can be knocked down by a kit it's got some problems." He sighed. " Well, I guess you could help me dig out holes for the sticks to go in...?"

Sure I'll help you.But shes just so annoying I mean I'm surprised I can put up with it. She walked over to the sticks and stones ands started moving them. When she moved most of them she sat down and licked her paw.Dreamchaser have you ever liked someone? She got up again and moved the rest of them.

[Tara]

Dreamchaser dug furiously, all the while listening to what Runningpaw was saying. He found it interesting.
" You put up with it, Runningpaw, because you know that she is your sister and she's the only sister you will ever get." He smiled. It was true. He'd lost his siblings, he didn't want anyone else to have to suffer the same.
Dreamchaser (Chaser for short) sighed heavily, looking down at the soft earth. The hole was a good thirty or forty centimeters deep and, having stuck the stick in at a slight angle, burying it made it almost perfectly stable. It could old his own weight, anyways.
" Have I ever liked anyone? How do you mean?" He repeated in his sweet, deep voice. " Of course, I like almost everyone I meet." That was a lie. He was tolerant of almost everyone he met. He added, " Dig that hole a bit deeper dear."

OkayShe started digging again.Well I meant did you ever LOVE someone.She dug the hole as deep as it needed and the stopped.She sat down and started grooming her fur.do you have any siblings

[Tara]

The tom stopped to take a look at the structure, and place a branch in the hole dug by Runningpaw. It, along with three others; two opposite those and one taller one in the middle, made for what would look like a mini house to a twoleg. He began testing the branches. All of them holding up to his weight.
He smiled.
" Loved? No...unfortunately." Lie. He had a huge crush on one of she-cat warriors, but he hadn't a chance. He wasn't going to tell Runningpaw, anyway.
" I had siblings. Three sisters, I was the only tom in the litter. There was Carol, Fergie and Floyd. I was Thugly." He wasn't the favorite of all the kits. " My sisters went to twoleg homes, I went to a big place where they fed me weird things and put things on me, and in me," He bent his head to show her the ring. Suddenly Chasers tone became deadly, menacingly he warned," I escaped, alive. Most of them died. Never go near twolegs, they're evil." His voice softened.
" Pass me the ferns?"

[blue]Oh thats sad.She grabbed the ferns and passed them to chaser.Here you go[/blue][red]Can a cat get any sleep around here!Arrowpaw stalked out of the apprentices den and stopped by her sister.Im going out to get some sleep.[/red][blue]No you're not. She saw a gleam of mischief in her sisters eye. You're staying right here and keep your mouth shut she said sternly.[/blue]

[Tara]

" Arrowpaw, why dont you stay here?" He had the feeling she'd object. " I'm not sugesting."
Chaser went back to building the fort.
" Runningpaw? That stick please?"
He stretched his aching limbs a moment before returing to his structure.

[blue]sureShe grabbed was about to grabb the stick but then she heard a snap and saw the stick in two and Arrowpaw.Why did you do that Arrowpaw chaser needed it.[/blue][red]I don't care it was in my way it deserved to be broken.Not really it was calling me but why what does a stick want with me.Im sorry Chaser and Runningpaw.[/red][blue]She saw her sister was sorry. Its okay. Im sorry Chaser I could go get another one.[/blue]

[Tara]

Dreamchaser looked up in mid stretch as he was about to place down another fern. His eyes stretched back to see Arrowpaw snapping the stick. Odd... he thought.
" No no, Runningpaw, it's alright. I-I wasnt using that one anyways...Arrowpaw, want to pass me that rock over there?" He pointed toward a large stone a few steps away from the apprentice.

[red]Arrowpaw was stricken but didn't show it.She snapped back into reality.Sure Chaser.She grabbed the stone and gave it to him.Here you go.Im really sorry.Runningpaw I need to leave camp for a minute.She started walking away and climbed a tree when she got away.[/red][black]That was odd she never cooperates.I wonder why she did that. Oh well.[/black]

Dreamchaser smiled as the young apprentice left. She was an odd one, like him, he mused.
" Well Runningpaw," He began as he added the rock to the circle around a stick. " Your sister is quite the character. There," He stepped back to look at the structure.
It was easier to build something when you've built once before, and with help. " Isn't it lovely?"

[red]Runningpaw stepped back too.It is amazing.Useful too I hate wet freshkill. It's gross. Come on lets show deathstar.She smiled.[/red][black]Arrowpaw was sitting in a tree thinking.Why was the stick calling to me.Why why me.What does it want from me.

[Tara]

Chaser smiled.
" You're right. It is gross." His brown fur parted in a gust of wind, showing white.
" Well, I don't know how Deathstar will react..." He looked around him. All around cats were giving him odd looks. No one seemed too interested. " Looks like everyone else seems not very thrilled about it." Chaser turned his head slightly in Runningpaw's direction.
" So, Runningpaw, why do you not want Arrowpaw to leave the camp?"
