A lean she-cat strode into camp, she had just gone hunting. A squirrel, two mice, and a vole were all she had caught. The she-cat dropped her catch off at the fresh-kill pile. Not bad, not as good as I could have done but not bad. She thought to herself I think my old skills are starting to come back to me.
The she-cats name was Toxicshadow, and she had been for the longest time one of the meanest cats in ShadowClan. She had cared about no one but herself, catching fresh kill for the clan, defending it when needed, being a good warrior, but other than what was expected she did nothing. But a small conversation with her seemingly only friend, and leader, she realized that no one could change what had happened to her in the past but she could change and make her parents in StarClan proud of her for moving on.
Toxicshadow walked over toward where she had grown up for five moons, the nursery. She hadn't been here in a long time considering that she didn't want to be reminded of what most kits had that she didn't. Now she could simply walk in there if she wanted but she didn't. There seems to be something I'm forgetting... Toxic thought Wait does the clan even have any kits, we have no queens I know that... What happened to the kit who's parents died in the fire... did it die too. Toxic never really paid attention to what happened around the nursery, but she knew if that kit had survived it would soon be having it's apprentice ceremony. Toxic wondered what this kit felt, she knew what it was like to lose the only family you had, that is what had changed her, but that was the past and that is not important.
(( Ok this is where doomkit meets Toxic, so yeah you can take it from there))

Doomkit wandered out of the nursery. She had fought with her adopted mother once again, but she didn't care. Soon she'd be big enough to take care of herself and she'd move far away from Shadowclan. I'll be the meanest loner there ever lived, she thought bitterly. Lost in her thoughts, she forgot to watch where she was going and, suddenly, her face met shoulder, and she toppled over backwards. "Hey, watch it fluffy!" She spat towards the she-cat warrior, rolling over onto her feet. " I'm trying to walk here! What? Is there not enough forest for you and you've got to take up the nurseries space too?" Her small tail lashed back and forth, her white teeth bared. " What ever, just move your fat tail out of my way." Doomkit looked up and realized who she was talking to. Toxicshadow was not the cat to be talking back to. She had a worse temper than she, herself, Doomkit! Fox dung, she thought. But instead of running away she stood defiantly. She wont hurt me, 'cause she cant. It's against the warrior code to kill a kit. And there's no way she's stupid enough to do it in the middle of camp! Doomkit smirked, her tail still lashing. She growled. " I told you to move."

Kits will they never learn. Toxic thought, while she stepped purposefully in front of the scrawny kit. Toxic thought she would have a bit of fun before truly putting her temper aside. She put on her most bitter look. I am a warrior and You are a kit. So who do you think should be telling the other what to do. Toxic said with more venom in her tone than she'd ever used. Then she realized This must be the kit from the fire. You think just because you had a tough beginning on life you can blame it on others and make there life horrid too... Well you're wrong! Toxic all but shouted her last word You're not the only one who lost everything to the twoleg's w recklessness. You're not alone. The she-cat said this softer and with more meaning than what she had the others.
The she-cat stepped out of the way after that. She wondered if she could befriend this kit. Doomkit reminded Toxic of herself when she had lost her whole world. The Toxic had an epiphany This kit needs me almost as much as I need her. Maybe.... No I couldn't... well I do understand how she feels... Hmmm. Toxic wouldn't let herself think of that just yet this she-kit still had a moon before she would become an apprentice.

" Do not talk about my life, all right, kitty?" reaching the backside of the she-cat warrior she spat over her shoulder, "You know nothing about me." and walked away, tail and head held high.
~~~~~~
" I don't need any warrior to tell me what and what not to do." Doomkit paced up and down the clearing, her tail lashing horribly. Her ceremony was comming soon, four sunrise's from the new moon, in fact. She counted down from the day she could finally escape the nursery. But no cat would ever take me, she thought. What ever, doesn't matter either way. She could feel the eyes of the she-cat staring into her. Stupid warrior. Doomkit hissed in frustration. But she had more pressing problems. She was going to have her apprenticeship ceremony in four suns, and her kin weren't alive to see it. She stopped pacing and raised her head to the sky. Sending a silent prayer to Starclan for her lost kin.
Toxic was so glad that she had learned patients(even if she didn't use them often), so she ignored the smart-Alick kit's remark. Toxic shuddered at the thought of what she would have done. That poor kit. She doesn't know what I've been through. Toxic realized this would be the first time she had ever told the whole story of her life to someone. The she cat sighed.
I know more than you think Toxic said to Doomkit without turning around, hoping she would come back to hear her story. I was an apprentice, a very good apprentice. The whole clan, well most of the clan, had high hopes for me. I was top of my class, nothing could have brought me down until ... Toxic stopped and closed her eyes remembering that day all too vividly, and a single tear slide down the she-cats face and off one whisker. Toxic thought she heard the sound of small paws on the ground, but she could not tell if they were coming or going.
Doomkit sighed and stopped as she listened to the she-warriors story. She had heard stories of what had happened but never dared to ask. Suddenly Toxicshadow trailed off. What? thought Doomkit, The sharpest tongue in the forest with nothing to say? She waltzed over, feeling very pleased with herself that she, Doomkit, had been the one to silence her. But something caught her eye. A glittering tear. Doomkit stopped beside the warrior and sat down, their pelts touching. Two of the same life crisis, sitting side by side. " Toxicshadow," She whispered in a low tone. " I may be a kit, but I am not stupid. I know what happened to you was bad. But you now have nothing to worry about. Your life has already begun. Your future is certain. Mine hasn't even started yet, so I don't know what will happen to me..." Doom added quietly. This was the first time she'd spoken to anyone outside her adopted mother or Thornrose. Doom took her tail and wiped the warriors tear away.
