A dark she-cat loped through the forest, looking for something to take her mind off what had happened in this part of the forest. Her mother and father's deaths and her own discolored tail were caused by a careless twoleg in this same forest. She was only an apprentice but the memory was still vivid. She tried to concentrate on finding something to hunt. Her name was Toxicshadow and she was not in any mood to face a cat in her clan with her usual bitterness. If she was to see anyone she hoped it wouldn't be a nosy apprentice that would try to break her patients with questions.
{sorry for the shortness}

(ti's ok am not all that good at make paragraphs)
A small black she-cat walked through the pine forest. She was lost in thought as she reflected on there old leader. She had been close to him but he had been taken. No one lives forever. She bowed her head sadly but then a sent of another cat reached her. Toxicshadow. Her eyes narrowed but then her hostility was lost as she came upon the warrior.
"Hello" Deathheat said her deep blue eyes else where.She stared off into the distance. Her eye looked back to Toxicshadow. The warrior seemed to have lost her usual hostility. "Are you ok?" she said softly. An ear listened for any other cat near by.

Shock flashed in Toxicshadow's face, but soon was gone. How could she have been so ignorent. Her leader had only been a few minutes away form her, but she had been so lost in thought sabout what had happened to her as an apprentice. She had let her gaurd down. The she-cat let her tail droop, what was the point in hiding something she had burried down for so long. "Yes, I am fine Deathstar. I was just remembering something I would have hoped not to." Toxic said trying to put her usual self back together with little hope. Her eyes would not get her usual hatred to show. Toxic had always had a feeling that her leader was one she could trust to put her gaurd down around. Finaly her face showed the bitterness she was used to but she only had hate for herself. How could she be so tuned out of the world only by one memory?

Deathstar stared at the warrior closely. Toxic was having a hard time pulling herself together but She could see her effort. Deathstar sighed and said "When we are alone it is hard to hide from one's self". Her eyes where sympathetic but also held a sadness of there own. "Toxicshadow, no one can change the past not even the starclan posses such power". She remember Toxicshadow as an apprentice she had not know her well so she had little to do with her but what had happened she had not forgotten.
She looked off again as the bitterness returned. Deathstar had no want to quarrel with the warrior. She also would not push the subject if Toxicshadow no longer wished to speak about it. Her own past has wiggled its way back in her mind but no longer how much time passed her distrust of the Starclan would not waver.

"I understand, no one can change what happened." Toxic said fighting the tears so near spilling. Her bitterness fading into hopelessness. It still amazed her how one place could break down all she had worked so hard to build. She still dreamed about that horrid day that crushed her spirits so badly that her whole attitude in life changed. Finally she could not hold them back any longer and a single tear slid down her cheek and off one whisker. She didn't care, it had been so long since she had cried. Toxic had almost thought maybe she could no longer cry. The sensation was wonderful, letting out all of the feelings she had kept lock up in her mind for so long. But not even letting out her feelings in a simple act of shedding a tear could change what had changed her whole inner self. "I understand" She whispered almost too low to hear, "I understand"

"How ever we must be strong and keep on moving" She turned to look at the warrior her dark blue eyes hard. "Find some reason to live and off of that get stronger" She now had a air of authority around her. "Like I live for the clan I can not abandon them, you must find your own reason". She now looked away from the warrior. "If you can not you will weaken , that is the simple truth, Toxicshadow I need your strength these are dark times. We have not see the windclan for sometime and my deputy has vanished". She sighed and a forlorn look crossed her face but it soon vanished. Now silence hung over them. Deathstar sat down and raped her tail around her paws.

The dark warrior realized that she was not as strong as she was before she gave into her pain. Physically she was stronger and could fight well for her clan, but mentally she had given up like a kit. Toxicshadow realized for the first time in a long, long time you need more than physical strength to help your clan. I must find something to live for, if not I will die eventually, maybe not right away, but sometime. Toxic thought to herself. Yes, I must do that. She all but mumbled, I must find something to live for, I have lost only part of my family, but my family, my clan, still lives... and for that i must be thankful. Thank you Deathstar. The she-cat dipped her head is appreciation. Perhaps an apprentice, but I must work harder than ever before to show that I am still capable of what was thought of me. An old feeling came back to the warriors body, ambition, and not the kind to take over the forest or what ever, the kind to do the best she could do, and do it well. The old glow of pride and determination came back in her eyes. She mustn't ever give in to her pain again. She would fight it and eventually win the battle that had gone on long enough within her being.

Deathstar was glad to see the old warrior back with a new mission on her mind. Now was a bad time for one to fall into weakness grasps, the forest's peace was over shadows loomed over head she could feel it like one could feel the peace before the storm. Her dark eyes had a tenseness about them. She could not stand this waiting. Fire will burn. What did that mean why did the starclan make this difficult it was like they enjoyed toying with the forest. A straight answer would have gone a lot farther. She realized she was gazing off and looked at the warrior. Getting up she stretched and yawned. "Stay strong, I have other duties to tend to now is there anything you need?" She looked at the warrior.

The warrior looked her leader in the eye a new warmth in them. No, not right now Toxic said with a tone that said she was thinking of something else. There is something I need to do though She thought to her self staring towards the camp. I think I'll hunt, and return to camp later. Toxic said turning away from Deathstar, only to turn her head back Thank you for helping me see. I realize how blind I have been for so long. And with that the warrior dipped her head in fare well, and loped off to find some prey.

Deathstar watched her go and smiled faintly but it soon vanished ."Your welcome" she whispered back. She looked at the countryside in front of her. She sniffed the air catching scent of a mouse she crouched down and sprang. She caught the mouse and ended it quickly holding it in her jaws she returned home. Her mind full of things that she had to do today. (Gaa really short.. anyway end of thread?)
