((post here if you are in this part of meh plot. ^^))
The sun was rising in the already blue sky as the birds awoke and animals started to move around. Two pale eyes glanced back and forth as the sounds in the forest grew louder. Bird, rabbit? Mouse, vole, rabbit again, bird again.... The young she-cat relayed what her mother had taught her in her mind, hoping it would help her when she finally found the clan cats. Stepping gingerly Ever touched the water belonging to the lake, shaking her paw as it lapped against her leg. Disgusted she turned away and entered the forest again, searching for a sign of cats. The strange smell of fox hung in the air, she only hoped that it was stale.

Ebony slinked through the undergrowth, the sound of waves lapping over the shore filled her ears. She stopped, the slight scent of fox hung heavy and stale in the air. The cold slaty air dragged at her fur and bit her nose. She continued towards the beach, at a quicker pace. Her pure black paws thudded quietly on the soft earth below her. Another scent came to her, another cat. This was no offensive scent, even tough she was trespassing on clan territory, this scent was slightly familiar. Ebony couldn't tell were she remembers the cat's scent from. Ebony came to a thinner bush patch, and caught sight of the other cat, they looked roughly around the same age as her and had some of the same features

Stargazer lay curled in the hollow, her paws tucked under her muzzle. She'd slept very little the night before, and was trying to get a bit of rest before Silversun dragged her into a hunting patrol. Her head snapped up. "Silver?" she whispered, scenting a cat. The scent wasn't familiar, however, and she rose stiffly to her paws, poking her head just out of the hollow, peering through the grass. She could see two of them now, both younger than her, both tresspassing.
She felt the urge to leap up and confront them, but didn't do so. Instead, she hid herself neatly in the scattered undergrowth, thick roots, and tall grasses near the base of the tree, watching. Waiting.
[Woah, that was gross. Dx Sorry.]
