Name:
Silentpaw
Gender:
Tom
Age:
9 moons
Rank:
Apprentice
Description:
[Silentpaw]
Silentpaw is a bit on the larger side while still being in proportion. In fact, his legs are a bit longer that other cats that are around his height. He is bulky and has short brown tabby fur. There is a splash of white on his muzzle as if he dipped just the very tip of his muzzle in white paint. The toes on his front right paw are white, but just his toes. His belly fur is a bit of a lighter brown than the rest of his fur and he has yellow eyes with a bit of green tint to them. There is a scar going horizontally across his nose that he got when he was a kit.
Short Discription:
Large brown tabby tom with yellow-green eyes and a white muzzle.
Personality:
At first glance he just seems like the stereotypically shy apprentice that rarely talks to anyone. But the truth is, he never talks to anyone; ever. He was born mute and because of that, he normally keeps away from his Clanmates and fellow apprentices. Even if he lacks the ability of verbal communication, he is still determined to become a warrior so he can prove to the Clan that he is useful. He is extremely determined and very rarely give up. However, he is easily frustrated, especially when a problem arises because of his inability to speak. He has little to no patience with cats who don't try to understand them, but has only a little more for those who attempt to read his body language.

History:
[::Kit::]
He lived the first months of his life as a normal kit. His siblings couldn't speak either, but that's just because they hadn't learned yet. When they did take to imitating their mother's, a black and white she-cat named Snowfoot, speech, Silentkit was the only one that didn't join in, thus earning him his name. At first, Snowfoot just assumed the kit was shy or not ready to learn, but as the other kits grew more fluent in their speech, Silentkit remained, well, silent. It was one day when the kits were tussling in the nursery that Snowfoot was forced to accept the fact that Silentkit would never speak. The tabby kit was wrestling with a little she-cat from another litter and she struck at his shoulder. He couldn't wail to let her know she was being to rough and with no verbal warning that she was hurting Silentkit, she aimed a swipe at his nose where one sharp little claw hooked in his nose and left a clean gash on his nose. He was taken to the medicine den to stop the bleeding, but his mother was sure to watch him more carefully for any sign that another kit was playing to rough with her mute son.
[::Apprentice::]
The day he was made an apprentice was one of the happiest of his lives. But it was darkened slightly because of his denmates mocking him and saying he'd never make a good warrior if he couldn't speak. After all, speaking was one of the main parts, right? Only slightly. He found a way to communicate with body language and he thinks that it works well enough to those who are willing to try and figure out what he's saying.
