Phoenixkit yawned and stood up.He stretched his legsAh all better.He walked toward the entrance of the nursery and layed down there.I'm so bored.I wish I could go out and see the birds.Speaking of birds his feather blew on his face.He blew it back up to his ear.Oh well I guess I'll have to live with it till I'm 6 moons.

Firepaw looked around the camp, the early morning sun reflecting on her fiery orange pelt her green eyes twinkling. She was so happy to actually be in a clan, she remembered just a few moons ago she had been a loner fully alone still mourning the death of her brother Sorrel. She got up and stretched her front paws far in front of her, a yawn escaped from her jaws Today's going to be a good day, I can just feel it from the tip of my nose to the tip of my tail she turned around an examined the three bramble dens that lay lined up in a row, Firepaw saw something move in the smaller den in the middle, curiosity flared in her deep green eyes as she dashed over to see what it was.
When she reached the small bramble den, a kit had poked it's way to the entrance and was laying there, reminiscing in their thoughts. Firepaw walked slowly over to the kit keeping her head down. She sat infront of the small kit her tail curled around her bi-colored front paws "Hello" she meowed cheerily My name's Firepaw, what's yours?

Phoenixkit looked up at Firepaw and smiled.My names Phoenixkit you have a nice name also.He flicked his tail.I was bored so I moved where I could see what was going on.He paused.Sorry if I disturbed you.Whos's your mentor and do you know..[/b]Before he could finish a shriek was heard then a voice followed it.[teal]Ooops sorry.Dartpaw smiled as she walked over to Phoenixkit.Whats up Phoenix and who's your new friend.Dartpaw examined Firepaw.Hey your that new apprentice who was a loner.Oh sorry I'm Dartpaw.If you need any help just call.See ya later Phoenix.With that she walked off.[/teal]That is Dartpaw.One of my best frineds.

Darkpaw was sunning himself in a small patch of sunlight which managed to peak through the forested cover, when he noticed a loud shriek.
He had just finished a rather tough training session, and his left haunch was just killing him. The place where the scar was visible was twitching, as the muscle convulsed, as if complaining. He began to lick it with an annoyed growl.
Then he heard the shriek.
His ears perked with excitement. Who could possible shriek like that? Worried he sprung up and padded briskly toward the group of young cats, wondering what was wrong. But as he got closer, and saw who had just shrieked, he could barely suppress a heavy sigh that frankly said " Starclan, I can't believe I'm here". Then he saw the new apprentice;
Firepaw.
He suddenly became nervous, but tried not to show it.
" H-hello Firepaw." he nodded to Phoenixkit. " Phoenixkit."

Dartpaw saw Darkpaw and waled over to himHi Darkpaw sorry for the shriek.Something happened.[maroon]Phoenixkit looked at Darlpaw.Hi Darkpaw.How was training today.[/maroon]Yeah hpw was it fun awesome hard.She didn't wait for an answer after examining his leg.Tough wasn't it.

Firepaw looked happily at Phoenixkit I'm one of Ravenstar's apprentices she announced pride filling her chest. A loud shriek followed his voice "Oops." said a voice from her left side "Whats up Phoenix and who's your new friend?" she saw the other apprentice examine her "Hey your that new apprentice who was a loner. Oh sorry I'm Dartpaw.If you need any help just call.See ya later Phoenix" he said turning tail and walking away, Firepaw turned back to Phoenixkit "That is Dartpaw.One of my best frineds." he said. Firepaw looked around at the small den in amusement.
She heard a heavy sigh emanate from the opposite side of where she had met Dartpaw, and turned to see another apprentice walking her way. He caught glimpse of her and she could see his body tense and he was apparently nervous "H-hello Firepaw" he stuttered "Phoenixkit" he nodded to the small kit in the den entrance. Darkpaw suddenly came darting back when he saw Darkpaw "Hi Darkpaw sorry for the shriek.Something happened" she saw Phoenixkit look back at Dartpaw "Hi, Dartpaw how was training today?" he asked "Yeah hope was it fun awesome hard"she resoponded "Tough wasn't it" he asked.
Firepaw stared bleakly at the commotion around her "Hello Darkpaw" she said happiness rose in her voice, her brilliant green eyes twinkling like emerald moons. The commotion around her had continued on, but she drowned it out her mind drifting into space.

Dartpaw walked back to the apprentices den.[teal]Wow your the leaders apprentice.That's awesome.I wish I could be an apprentice.I have to wait two more moons. Is he hard on you.He sighed.One dat I'll be a great warrior and apprentice.Tell me about your loner life please.[/teal]

Darkpaw growled.
" Firepaw's past is hers, not yours." His eyes softened slightly. Poor little kit... he should be nicer to him.
" You should respect her feelings, if she wants to tell you someday then she will." Darkpaw knew that loner life could be hard and not many cats enjoyed talking about their rough pasts. He looked to Firepaw and purred slightly.
" Two months, eh? Don't worry, you'll be fine." He leaned over to lick his back haunch tenderly.
" It wasn't the training that was hard on me." It was my father, he thought bitterly.

Phoenixkit glared at Darkpaw.I was only asking.I know she doesn't have to.He hissed.[/b][teal]Calm down Phoenixkit.She cast a quick glare at Darkpaw.Leave Phoenix alone, beacuse he didn't ask your opinion.She flicked her tail because she was upset.She looked at the sky.What will I do without you.She looked at Phoenixkit again.Nice feather Phoenix.[/teal]He smiledThanks Dartpaw.

Darkpaw sighed darkly.
He knew when he wasn't welcome.
" Sure, sure, Phoenixkit." He glared at Dartapw.
" I am entitled to my own opinion Dartpaw. Just because you don't like me..."
Stop. Don't try to ruffle anymore feathers, he thought bitterly. His ears went back a little as he looked down, trying to figure out what to do next. Maybe I'll just leave...
But he wanted to stay with Firepaw, no matter how Dartpaw and Phoenixkit felt about him.
He decided to leave.
"See you all later, then. Goodbye Firepaw." He gave a small nod to Dartpaw and Phoenixkit, before turning away to sit, alone, in the apprentices den.

Firepaw shot a glance at Darkpaw for snapping at Phoenixkit Leave him alone, I don't mind if he asks she snapped back her green eyes sharpened their glance. "Calm down Phoenixkit" stated Dartpaw " Leave Phoenix alone, because he didn't ask your opinion!" snapped Dartpaw "Nice feather Phoenix " she stated "Thanks Dartpaw" Phoenixkit looked at Dartpaw happiness glinting in his eyes.
If you really want to know stated Firepaw emerald eyes glinting with amusement and she looked at the kit I was about 3 moons when my mom just dropped us in the middle of the forest she leaped to her paws and lowered herself into a hunting crouch, her voice lowered to a near whisper My two brothers and I were all alone out in the forest, we wandered out near the two leg nest, and my brother Sorrel had found food in one of the yards, and suddenly BOOM! there was a massive dog she yelled the last part of her sentence Drool was just dripping off of it's razor sharp fangs, but Sorrel acted all tough and stood up to the dog my brother Maple ran away and we were slipt up, I ran to Sorrel and tried to pull him away but it was like he was rooted to the spot. Then the dog attacked and took Sorrel into his nest her voice was quiet and hushed again.

Darkpaw sighed heavily. O geez...
" Okay, look..." He went to sit with the other apprentices and the kit. He liked Firepaw and Dartpaw and he didn't want to ruin any friendship that might have been. " I'm sorry."
He hoped that they'd forgive him.
Sitting alone in the apprentices den would just have to wait.
He sighed.
" Phoenixkit, what is your feather... Robin or something? It's very stylish."

Darkpaw smiled, amusement lightening his voice to an almost flirting manner.
" I never said you didn't like me, Dartpaw." Although, he thought, I did get the impression... " Birds are amazing, yes, although I don't know how they can go so high... I would be too scared..."
He looked down sheepishly as Firepaw told her story. It reminded him of his own-
His head shot up in shock as she yelled, and he thought for a moment that something was wrong...
But there was nothing really wrong, so he just sat still again.
" Wow... a dog..." He whispered. He'd seen dogs tear through cats like they were nothing. He's probably dead, he thought bitterly.
Poor cat.
