As the first rays of light poked through the branches covering the apprentices den, a tabby tom near the back began to stir. Silentpaw's ears twitched slightly at the sound of the strong winds that were still blowing outside and, reluctantly, he sat up and blinked the sleep from his eyes as he looked around the den. After a moment of just sitting and waking up, the tabby apprentice pushed himself to his paws and carefully wove around the other apprentices, trying not to wake his denmates as he made his way towards the main camp.
Once outside, his fur was buffeted slightly by the wind that managed to get down into the abandoned quarry. He shook his head slightly and stretched again before strolling over to investigate what there was to eat in the fresh kill pile. The thought crossed his mind that Ravenstar might take him and Firepaw out training today, but he wasn't to hopeful. He'd learned not to have high expectations for his Clanmates, who he thought disliked him because he never spoke.[/color]

((If you want to we can turn this into a training thread ^^ Or something.))
Silver eyes flicked open as the black leader streached his paws out infront of him. He gazed towards the ceiling as he heaved a huge sigh. He flexed his calws then rolled over, moss and small peices of dirt stuck. He shook his head, ears flicking backwards. Gah, why do Windclan have to be gone He woke up every morning thinking the same thing, over and over, like a broken record. Pushing himself up onto his feet he shook his pelt, bits of moss flying across the den. Arching his back he first streached his front legs, then his back legs, before he moved to the entrance of the den.
He narrowed his eyes as he entered the brighter world outside. He blinked and turned his gaze to the warriors den, it didn't seem like any of them, or the kits, if there were any, were awake. But then some movement near the freshkill pile caught his eye. He smiled, Silentpaw. Flicking his tail he moved and slid down the pathway up to the leaders den. Trotting over to his apprentice he nodded at him, "G'morning Silentpaw". Most cat's would think that you couldn't have a conversation with a mute cat, you couldn't ask questions, many thought they were 'the walking dead'. Ravenstar flashed the young apprentice a small half smile, but Ravenstar knew you could talk to them like any other cat. The only difference was that they answered differently with a flick of the ears, the tail, or even a gesture of the paw, the expression on teh face, or even if they shrugged. "Are you having a nice morning?" Ravenstar turned his gaze from the apprentice to the fresh kill pile. It was pathetic, maybe one mouse laying under some leaves, but it didn't look like anything else. He snorted "Maybe I could take you, and Firepaw training today? Practice hunting?" He turned his gaze back to the mute tom.

((Sure lol))
Silentpaw dipped his head to greet his mentor and leader when he walked over and greeted him. He stared down at the fresh-kill pile but there wasn't much there so he decided to leave it for the higher ranking cats. He could always wait to eat. When asked about his morning, he looked up at the sky and shrugged, My morning's been okay. He kneaded the ground eagerly at the prospect of a training session and nodded to show that he thought it would be a good idea.
He glanced back over his shoulder towards the apprentice's den, wondering if he should go and wake Firepaw, but decided to let her get up of her own accord. After all, if he did manage to drag her from sleep, it wasn't like he could tell her that Ravenstar was taking them training today. He huffed softly as he often did when he was limited by his inability to speak. He glanced over at Ravenstar and sat down as if trying to tell Ravenstar that he could choose whatever was left of the fresh-kill pile. He figured it would be rude to just walk away.
