The winds howled over head and the rain batted the grassy earth. Lightning flashed thretening the tall trees of the forest. Tunder rolled and most cats would be inside their den hiding from the weather. Firestorm was out on his own and went along the Windclan border the strange scent was strong still and no signs of Windclan. How ever Firestorm wasn't just checking the borders he was hunting. His orange flamed pelt was clinging to him wet and drenched. The tom came to sky oak stalking a mouse that was on a root. Rocking on his haunches Firestorm lanched himself and snached the mouse up killing it in the impact.
Firestorm sat under the tree watching the ran fall after shaking his fur of some of the water. Concitering the rainw as cold he was actually reasonable warm. It was still early and it had been raining all morning and the kill pile was low. He'd caught three mice and two vole. The squirrls were up in their trees though he almost had his paws on one untill a crack of thunder scared it away. He shook his pelt again.

Iceflame was chsing a rabbit intently not noticing firestorm's scent.When she was close enough she pounced and missed it and instead caught Firestorm.She jumped of him quickly.I'm sorry Firestorm.I was so intent on the rabbit..She stopped and looked around her confused.Where'd the rabbit go.

Firestorm shook his pelt getting up. He looked to Iceflame. "I'm ok and I don't know but why are you out here in the rain?" The tom asked. It was unusauall for anyone else to be out in the rain especially during a thunderstorm. Normally Firestorm would know about anyone out int he rain.

She shoook her head.well normally I would be in camp hiding like a chicken because of my past but I wanted to hunt.She looked to him.umm well I guess I just wanted to hunt.She flicked hher tail and ducked as the thunder crashed.She let out a wimper.

Firestorm similed sympatheticly. "I see. Well this storm shouldn't last much longer i think. It's been ragining all moring it's got to end soon." Firestorm stated. "Since your out here, would you like to join me?" Firestorm asked.

Shockpaw stalked silently through the tree's, She had been bored in camp and had wandered out on her own.
"I smell Firestorm.. and Iceflame"
Sneaking behind a Tree shockpaw silently watched, wondering what they were doing.
Quiet as a mouse Shockpaw slid out and pounced on Firestorm then rolled off onto the grass.
"HA! gotcha!!!!" She said teasingly.

Shockpaw and Firestorm landed int he rain in the middle of a puddle. I'm going to have to jump into the lake at this rate. Firestorm could tell it was Shockpaw. "Seems you have. Now off before this mud soaks into my fur." Firestorm said and pushed the apprentice lightly off him. He then got out of the puddle and shook the dirt water from his flameing pelt, lettign the rain wash his pelt before shaking and returning back to the shelter of the tree.

She laughed.Hi Shockpaw.Inside her fear was raging all arond.Crash and crack.Another streak of lighting hit the air.She whimpered.I hate storms.She looked all around her.Her fur started rasising on end.I hope they don't come back.

Firestorm laughed lightly. "Some cats don't some do. I find them rather entertaining." Firestorm glanced up as lighting flashed. "It's not that bad and I don't blame you for not being fond of storms." Firestorm then turned to Shockpaw. "Are you coming under the tree or are you going to stand in the rain?" Firestorm called to the apprentice.

She shook her head.You don't understand why and I won't say why.She shivered and walked under the tree.My family.....is gone.She flet tears stream downh er face.It's okay cry.They will think it's rain.

Firestorm watched the she-cat fora moment. "I'd do my best to under stand. You don't have to tell me why though." Firestorm meowed calmly. He sighed. A crack of thunder roll over head. He looked up and wathced the lighting.

She began letting the tears fall.Don't worry.They can't your family again.No but they can kill me now.Another crack of thunder roared in the sky and jumped.Her head whipped around wildy.She kept seeing cats face ans claws and teeth bared.She fainted.

Firestorm's eyes went wide. "Iceflame!"He exclaimed and he slide under her proping her head and his fur wet from the ground still. He licked her ears. "Hey!" He mewoed softly into her ear. He nudged her trying to wake her. He'd never had a cat faint before infront of him. He didn't really know what to do.

iceflame groaned and regained her conciousness quicky.I.. I.. I'm sorry Firestorm.She stood up shakily.She went and layed down close to the tree.Firestorm it's not your fault.[/]bShe looked up at the sky.When I was a kit I wasn't a part of any clan.Well these rouges came and murdered my family.They dissapeared for ome time and came back to me.To ki...ki...kill me.Then some clan cats came and scared them off and took me back to camp.She looked to her paws.When I fainted it was because whenever I looked around me I saw cat's faces and claws.

Firestorm help stedy her. Her story now told he stepped forward and licke dher shoulder. "It's ok. Some times things happen that remind us of unplesant thing such as our past, and thunderstorms seem to remind you of your past." He said looking into her eyes. "One day you will be able to over come it." Firestorm meowed. He was still young but he spoke as if he'd had moons and moons of wisedom but he was still learning new things everyday. He'd never know everything. He hope what he said made the she-cat feel even a little bit better.
