Firestorm thought about his comment. "I might be because even as an apprentice and even now in the worst of stoms I still like hunting and bring back a pawfull of prey. That's the only reason I can this of at the moment. I love the roll of the storms over head too. I used to get in trouble for running into the storm as a kit." Firestorm meowed. He really hadn't thought about his name all that much. No one asked about it too often.

Silvery eyes gazed out around the camp as the young leader woke from a good nights sleep. He stretched, flexing his long hook like claws. Dagger like teeth shone in the light as Ravenstar turned to make his way down the rocky slope and into the clearing. Normally Ravenstar would just hang around camp or lead a patrol, today he wanted to wander out into the forest. He flicked his long midnight black tail to his side as he exited the camp and headed out into the forest. I should really set up a training session for the apprentices today he thought as he stopped by a cluster of bramble bushes and lifted his maw into the air. Taking a deep breath he froze, there was a strange scent on the wind. Turning he padded, with a fast pace, towards the strange scent. He paused down wind from the cats and gazed at them for a long moment, Firestorm was with a different cat and an apprentice. Stepping out of the brush he gazed at the loner for a long moment, then let his piercing gaze sweep across the cats. "Evening. Mind telling me what is going on?"

Firestorm shook his head and glanced at Lightfight. "No it's ok." He said he could guess why. Firestorm walked silently through the forest the wind blowing he could tell a storm was on it's way. He could feel it coming. Firestorm then turned as he heard someone approaching. His eyes narrowed, he relaxed as the familiar scent of his leader came over him. As the bush russled and then outstepped a cat. "Ravenstar,"he said and nodded to his leader. He then began. "This is Lightfight and he wishes to speak with you." Firestorm said. He then felt sorry he sent Dartpaw off to get Ravenstar. She'll come back... He thought.

Dartpaw looked everywhere but couldn't find Ravenstar.She shrugged and ran off to Firestorm and Lightfight.Firestorm I could find Raven...Then she saw her leader.She bowed.I'm sorry Ravenstar I didn't see you there.

"And the reason I want to speak to you is quite simple." Lightfight said dipping his head in respect for the leader. "As is the very reason I'm here. You see I want to join Thunderclan." After he finnised his blue eyes looked over Ravenstar. Judging him.

His raven black pelt kept the leader almost hidden in the shadows. He flicked his tail to his side as Dartpaw emerged from the brush, she dipped her head, he nodded. "It's fine Dartpaw, no worries". He turned his stern gaze to Lightflight. "Join Thunderclan?" He stepped out of the shadows, his muscles rippling beneath his soft ebony coat. He circled Lightflight one time before stopping in front of the tom cat, his eyes gazing into the loners. "You've been a loner your entire life? Any. Skills you have in fighting or hunting?" He waited calmly for an answer, Lightflight was one of the first cats he had had try to join his clan, he wouldn't just say welcome to Thunderclan! He had to know who the cat was first.[/color]

Firestorm stepped to the side as Ravenstar circled Lightfight. He came up to the apprentice. He watched the loner as Ravenstar began questioning. He waited wondering if Ravenstar would let the loner into Thunderclan. Firstorm's green gaze then came to Dartpaw. Then suddenly back to Ravenstar and Lightfight. I must be tired... Firestorm thought.

Lightfight softly smiled. "No I haven't been a loner all my life. For the first six moons I was a kittypet." Lightfight winced at the memories. "And it wasn't soft at all." Shaking his head to get rid of the memrioes he answered the rest of the questions. "I'm also quite the fighter. You can't tell by just looking at me because I'm so small but I'm very very fast. And my size can help me. As for hunting? Well I'm quite good as that as well."

Dartpaw smiled.Ravenstar we could test him to see if he's really as good as he says.She flicked her tail.A test.Just like an apprentice has to have.i think it would work.
She flicked her tail again.She turned her gaze to Ravenstar and then to Lightfight.

"I'll quite like to do that." Lightfight said as he turned his blue gaze first to Dartpaw then to Firestrom. Brushing it pass Ravenstar he looked towards the mountains before returning his gaze to the leader.

Touchy, that was a good word for Ravenstar when it came to letting loner cats into his clan. Especially if they were disrespectful or bumped into him, a few things that completely ticked him off. He listened to Lightflight as he spoke, Kittypet, but not soft at all. He shrugged it off and paused for a long moment, listening to Dartpaw. He turned around on a dime and faced the loner again. "A test?" He paused for a long moment before flashing a small, evil like, half smile. "Why not? Dartpaw? Firestorm? Anyone want to test this out?" He waited for a moment before continuing. "First will be a hunting test, a mouse, simple right?" He brushed past Lightflight and jumped atop a rock so he could overlook their progress, he smiled down at Lightflight mischievously. "Don't try anything loner, if you try to hunt then leave we'll find you." Most cats did not know that Raven, as a very young warrior, asked the leader to leave the clan for awhile, to experience the loner life and bring back new fighting techniques. So one thing that separated Ravenstar from other leaders was the fact that he could put himself in the place of other cats, even if it meant that he had to remember his past.[/color]

"And there is no reason for me to leave." Lightfight told Ravenstar. "After all I came to join this great cla." Not fogetting himself he dipped his head in respect for the leader before he closed his eyes. Streching out his sense it took about 10 seconds for him to find a mouse. A futher 50 seconds to capture it. With his eyes still closed. He walked over to the rock the leader was sitting at and dropped it at it's base.

Firestorm listened as Ravenstar gave out the challenge. Firestorm nodded and then watched at Lightfight. Came back with a mouse. Such a short time... He thought. This loner wasn't that bad, Firestorm wanted to know how he would do if he were to fight in a battle.
