The sun was peaking over the mountain tops and the sky was not yet bright. The half bridge that was broken over time sat in the water on Riverclan territory. A small figure her pelt blending in with the brown wooded plaks sat still looking over the water as it lapped the shore sloching against the support beams of the bridge. White puffs floated and dissappered as she breathed out the warm air. Her eyes looked over to the other territorys she wondered what was happening. She was letting Eclipsemoon have some time she had convinced her mentor to stay in Riverclana nd she had to come up with a plan. She glanced over to Windclan and wondered what had happened tot he rabbit chasing cats the fought against the winds of the moor. And then there was leaf-bare approching slowy but had already started to chase off some prey with it's licking frost fingers as it sweeped the lands. A clash of a wave then caught her attention. "I wonder..."

"Hey there Branchpaw!" she smiled as she joined the apprentice. "what'cha thinking about" her eyes glittered as she stared at the water crashing angst the beach. Seastorm yawned in the morning air. Her breath flew at visible. Amused she began to breath out deeply just to see the clouds. The she realized she must look silly."Err.. sorry about that". She hoped that Branchpaw wasn't weirded out by her. She stretched letting the energy slowly fade back into her body.

Branchpaw smiled and chuckled. Seastorm was always full of energy. "It's ok." She replied. She shook her fur of the mist that clung to her fur from the water spray. She then glanced back to Seastorm re-setting herself. "So what's up?"She asked she hadn't spoken to Seastorm in a while.

(really short my muse is taking a hike )
"Nothing much, so I hope Eclipse is being good to you" she said happily and then more softly."He seems so distance lately maybe it something I said". Then she brightened up again "No matter, have you caught a fish yet ? takes me forever to get them so I usually don't bother". Realizing she was blabbing on she quited and turned her upbeat gaze to the water. It always shimmered in the morning.

Branchpaw laughed. "I've caught alot of fish I love fishing." She purred happily. "Eclipsemoon is great I think we're training tommorrow." Branchapw meowed keeping the conflict that Eclipsemoon was having secret. She noted Seastorm had noticed her mentor's distanceness. She wondered if she should tell her mentor that one of Riverclan had noticed.

"Have you caught a big one?" she said eyes looking admiringly."Are you going to practice fighting? or have you done that already two!". Maybe she'd come watch the apprentice fight if she was. Seastorm yawned as the dew was evaporating and now the sun shone brightly. "What are you better at fighting or fishing? me its definably fighting.".

Branchpaw shrugged. she wasn't sure. "I don't know I just starting learning basic fighting. But at the moment It's probably fishing." She said smiling she looked out to the water again. She hoped tommorrow her mentor would be ok to train her. But she didn't want to rush him. She understood cats and somehow Eclipsemoon was kinda hard to understand but she was getting better.

Seastorm smiled admiringly and then yawned. "Well today should be a fare day no?" she said her eyes searched the forest for movement then her attention back on Branchpaw. "I could teach you some moves if you like" her eyes looked sharply at the apprentice wondering if she was interested. "you can surprise Eclipse maybe force a smile on that smug face" she said halfhearted. "well if you say no the opportunity will always stand just ask me". She began to lick her paws cleaning them.

Branchpaw didn't see harm in it, it would be cool to learn from Seastorm. Eclipsemoon probably would be another day or so. She smiled again comming back to Seastorms question and offer. "Sure that would be great. I accept your offer." She said greatfully. Branchpaw felt excitement tingle in her paws again to be learning another move. A spray of water came up to her making her fur more damp again. The sun was higher casting a shadow.

She smiled with warmth glad that the she-cat had accepted. "So show me what you already know " her gaze now looking at Branchpaw to asses her control over her muscles. Seastorm was know to be a good fighter it was all she really had skill for her ability to hunt was very low. Sea was now ready to see the amount of talent Branchpaw possessed. Striking a balanced pose she waited for the cats attack.

Branchapw got into a normal position and she watched the move in her head remembering how Eclipsemoon had shown her. Branchapw stalked up closer to seastorma dn then she then dove inward. Her paw flashing out swiftly and she aimed to try and take Seastorm's forepaw from under her and she pulled slightly forward pulling the paw. She then lift ready for Her fellow she-cat's response her mucles tense her eyes watching from motion.

Seastorm stared sharply the care free look had left her face and was replaced with stone. She Let the apprentice make the first move. The younger she-cat moved and swiped a paw out from under her. Sea expertly leaned back so that all her balance was on her back legs then she put that wait and crashed down on the apprentice. She made sure make sure he wight would not crush the apprentice if they came into contact.The she jumped of now letting Branchpaw move again. Think about how every move comes together/ She willed the apprentice to do well.

ooc:Thought I replied sry!!!!!  Branchpaw was squashed and then she came up quickly. She wasn't expecting that to happen but as her eyes came up, they blazed with determination to over come this challenge. The apprentice waited for amoment tryignt o think of something that would go. She decided to go with what her gut told her and she came forward vering to the side and aimed to slide her sheathed claws down Seastorm's pelt, but she perpared to be able to duck or jump back if nessasary, she didn't want to get squashed again. |
