Dartpaw got bored talking to these cats.She sighed and went to find someone else.She spotted Firestorm and a shadowclan she cat.She walked over.Hi Firestorm and hi what's your name.She laughed.umm what is your name.She flicked her tail happily.

Scarletpaw jumped as Talonwing spoke.
"Yes, were are we gonna sit?" She said bouncing to her paws and flicking her tail from side to side. She was so excited she could barely keep her eyes still. Scarletpaw looked down on Redpaw, he seemed small when she was standing up.

"'lo," Redpaw murmmured, dipping his head respectfully to Talonwing when he was addressed. He jumped slightly when the leaders called for the gathering to start and looked up to the leaders as Maplestar began to speak. He looked up at Scarletpaw for a moment and glanced back at his mentor before turning back to pay attention to Deathstar or Ravenstar, whoever spoke next.

Sunmist looked around her at the gathering cats.
Still no Windclan...?
Her heart fluttered, mostly with exhaustion, although some of it belonged to a bought of repressed anxiety. This stress was not good for her poor body.
She shifted her weight and looked over to her apprentice, who sat strangely quiet. Was he shy? She'd never thought of him to be a shy cat...

{Left with her thoughts--}

Darkpaw shook his head.
"'S... not important. Just some rouge's been hanging around the two leg paths..."
Not just some rouge.
The rouge.
The large dark tom, huge for his age group, shook his thick mane like fur free of dew and grass, his eyes furrowed with worry.

Runningfern's head snapped upward as he listened for the leaders announcements.
He seemed to forget (ignore, more like) the fact that none of the other cats he'd tried to speak to were not replying... But he didn't expect them too.
If they wished to speak to him, they would, in their own respects.
He caught himself stealing a nervous glance toward Sunmist, wondering whether or not she was okay...

Leopardfire sat where she was looking up at the tree leaders, no Windclan. She listened to every word Maplestar spoke. A strange scent and one clan missing, to top it all off there was a message from Starclan of danger to come. She sighed and turned to Sunmist, "A strange scent is never a good thing. We must all keep a look out to Starclan for warnings of the missing clan." She tried to see if she could get any hints of the other medicine cat learning anything after the moonpool. Since Starclan had been silent to her.

Deathheart stepped up next her mind was partly racing as she looked down on all of the cats. There eyes expecting and wondering what she would say."Welcome Maplestar" Deathstar said dipping her head slightly in respect. "Are clan has been blessed with many and so we have quite a few new apprentices joining are ranks" she said. Her dark gaze sweped the clearing. She was debating with herself to share the news of there apprentice that was stolen from them by a twoleg. Finally she decided agents it. She stepped back and allowed Ravenstar to go next.

Talonwings golden eyes swept the clearing as Maplestar stepped up to talk. He swept his tail over Scarletpaw's shoulder, "Over here, quickly." He padded away to sit in front of Deathstar's seat in the tree, Maplestar's voice rang out above the murmurs of the cats. He sat down and swept his tail around his paws, he tilted his face to the leaders as Deathstar spoke.

Ravenstar nodded as Maplestar stepped forward and spoke. His heart beat faster. He watched as Deathstar spoke next, he could hardly hear himself think. He took a deep breath as Deathstar stepped back, he stepped forward and stood there silent for a moment, gazing around the clearing. "We all grieve for the loss of Rippedstar, Maplestar will be a great leader to follow." He nodded to Maplestar, then looked back to he clan cats. "Thunderclan is well, We have many apprentices in training. The prey seems to be running fine." He paused, now for the part that may just cost him his tail, his heart thudded against his rib cage, making it hard for him to speak. "We all know Windclan is missing, but that is not the point I want to make. Lately Thunderclan patrols have scented as strange, catlike scent along our boarder with Windclan, no Windclan scent what so ever." He paused, how much to tell? Everything, Windclan is not the only threatened one. "This morning I took a single patrol along the boarder, the scent has moved into Thunderclan territory a ways. I'd like to know if anyone has spotted anything strange." He was about to step back before he remembered one more thing. "Windclan is...without a leader! They had no deputy! I understand some think it is better to have three clans but there is rightfully four. We must help them."

Sunmist watched in surprise as Talonwing made his way to sit under his leader.
Maplestar had already said what she wanted to say, as had Deathstar, but Ravenstar's words struck her most relevant. Windclan was the hot topic amongst the gathering.
"Ravenstar, I completely agree." The medicine cat's voice rang through the clearing, a long paused had followed his words, and Sunmist knew that something positive had to be said, or else the whole conversation would be gone, and Windclan would be surely lost.
She rose her head to look straight at the Thunderclan leader, her own eyes thoughtful. She was aware that she was addressing another clans leader.
" Windclan is just as apart of the forest as any clan, you all cannot deny our ties with them. Losing them would surely destroy us."

Runningfern's head threw itself toward the medicine cat.
Great starclan, she's addressing another clans leader... can she do that? He knew that medicine cats were powerful, but, seriously?

Darkpaw lay low on the ground.
He didn't even speak with the leader!
" Stargazer, is what they say true? Can the whole forest fall without one clan?" He looked up to his warrior friend, his gaze worried.
He couldn't believe it. Surely it meant more territory... right?

" I agree as well."
Dreamchasers tail twitched nervously. His mate was of that clan, although he wouldn't say that in front of all the clans. These clan cats were just too quick to criticize.
" We need to find them."

[twilight]

Leopardfire stood up beside Sunmist, the clans needed to stand together. "We need to try and find out what we are up against, and we need to find Windclan. Without Windclan we are three, and Starclan has always willed that there were four clans in the forest. Why would we just stand by and watch as a clan fades in the distance?" She spoke loud and clear, this wasn't the first time she had spoken at a gathering, but this was the most important time she had even spoken. She met her leaders eyes, wondering what would happen next, would there be a battle with words? Or would every one agree?

Deathheart narrowed her eyes as Dreamchaser. Then she turned her dark gaze to Ravenstar."If Windclan was weak enough to have been defeated I see no need to go after them. I haven't gotten one call for help from them have you? Ravenstar". Her heart drummed in her chest she had to sway them or she would look stupid and dishonorable in front of them all. "How do we know they want to be found? we have no facts we should not move blindly". Deathstar was challenging him. Deep down she was scared she could not make enemy's of all the leaders.

Maplestar was silent, thinking things over in her head. It would be unbalanced, she thought, without the fourth clan.
You're only saying that because, then, there would be an odd number. That's all, she told herself, and took a step back.

Stargazer's jaw opened before she could close it.
"What...if Windclan cannot call for help?" she offered meekly, though her voice was loud over the collected murmuring. "I...perhaps...they need all the help they can recieve."
She winced and lowered her head, turning slightly to her younger friend. "Perhaps," she repeated, and left it at that. Stargazer was nervous, her tail curling tightly around her paws. She urged to pick herself up and leave, to run away, but leaned slightly against Darkpaw's shoulder and told herself to stay put. "Perhaps not the entire forest, comrade, but I can be sure there would be moments of havoc."

The raven leaders silver eyes flashed as Deathstar challenged him. He was happy the other cats seemed to stand with him, but then again what if she was--

"May I be so happy to interrupt!" The large black tan pawed medicine cat stood and pushed his way forward, he stared up at his leader, hoping to Starclan that she wouldn't be angry at him. "Starclan has warned of a threat." You are not supposed to tell others of your dream. he challenged himself, But if it means our survival.. He took a deep breath and squared his shoulders, this was going to be a complicated gathering. "Deathstar, I'm sorry to say that I agree. Windclan could be hurt, Windclan could be dead. But who are we to do nothing about it? I'm afraid to say that Windclan has not been taken out by a disease, they were assaulted. And what ever it is?" He paused and looked to Ravenstar, "It's coming after Thunderclan next".

Anger flashed like wild fire in her eyes. She bit back a snarl How dare you!. For the peace of the gathering was the only thing keeping Deathstar from lashing out. In what her eyes was betrayal was one of the things that hurt her the most. She could not hold the fight alone and with no one at her aid not even her medicine cat she slumped back defeated. She looked up her gaze hard "Do not expect my help" she said with what was left of her pride and dignity "Shadowclan will not lose warriors to others problems". Starclan why do you batter me .
