Ravenstar smiled and nodded to Maplestar, "I'm sure your doing fine Maplestar". He paused slightly and glanced back, watching his warriors intermingle with the other clan cats, "You'll eventually get used to it". Flicking his tail to the side he took a seat on the roots of the large tree, turning his silver gaze to the Shadowclan Leader. Now that Deathstar has arrived, will Windlclan? He looked towards Windclan territory We could only wish. Clearing his throat he called out to the dark colored leader, "Deathstar, evening".
Bright blue eyes drifted from the Thunderclan warrior to the apprentice. "Nice to meet you guys". She nodded to Darkpaw, "New apprentice?" she smiled remembering back when she was an apprentice. Shifting slightly her long coat brushed up against a feathery black one. Turning her gaze to the side she watched as a large tom with tan paws made his way be. "Sorry" He just nodded and moved on, golden eyes gazing around the clearing.
Talonwing gazed about the clearing, searching for Leopardfire, the Thunderclan medicine cat. Shrugging his shoulders he looked towards Scarletpaw, "You can either follow me, which I recommend, or wander about" His eyes told her to follow him, so he turned and flicked is tail at her before moving towards Sunmist, the only Medicine cat he saw. He paused for a moment as he bumped into a Riverclan warrior, she appoligized but he just nodded. Moving on he paused near a smaller group of cats, looking to Sunmist he dipped his head in respect. "Ah, Sunmist. How are you this evening?"

Something seemed to be bothering Squirrelpelt as she neared the log. It seemed like a longer wait than normal until she finally got her turn to scramble across the log and jump down on the shore of the island. She looked at Ivymoon and her eyes narrowed ever so slightly as she remembered the conversation she'd listened in on between her Clanmate and two toms she didn't know. All she knew was she had to find Bluejay and let her know what she heard. There was only one problem with that; WindClan wasn't there yet.
Something in the air told her that her friend wasn't going to be at the gathering tonight. Perhaps it was the apprehension of the other Clans, like they knew something she didn't, but she still had hope.
Redpaw had followed Sunmist towards the other medicine cats and was now crouched beside her, waiting for instructions. His ears perked forward curiously as Talonwing came over, but he didn't speak. Even as excited as he was to be here, he was just too shy to speak to a cat he didn't know. Right now, he was making sure to stick to his mentor's side like glue so that he wouldn't get lost in the crowd.

Darkpaw looked to Stargzer and flicked her ever so lightly with the tip of his tail, flashing her a quick smile.
He turned his attention back to the other she-cat warrior, and bowed his head respectfully.
" Well... no, not really new. I have a mentor now, if that's what you mean." He looked off to the side, over her head. He wanted to talk more with Stargazer, but he figured he'd have more time later. " I-I haven't really spoken to her lately..." He looked down worriedly. He'd hate to have a mentor who wasn't too fond of him.
Sunmist sighed heavily as she settled down in a small pile of leaves. She closed her eyes a moment and sighed in exhausted. She felt sluggish and virtually un-conscious. The only thing keeping her awake was Redpaw, who seemed scared witless.
" Don't worry...Redpaw..." She sighed, " You'll be fine. Look, here comes Shadowclan now..."
She looked around the clearing with detached, crossed eyes, hoping to appear conscious at the least. It took a while before she noticed him, but as soon as she registered that Talonwing was speaking, she looked up a managed a short smile.
" Hello Talonwing. I'm... okay..." She knew he could probably tell she wasn't doing as well as she said, she knew Redpaw felt something was wrong.
"How-how are you?"

Runningfern looked over with amusement at his new apprentice, a slight amusement making his tail curl, although his eyes weren't shining as much as they would have been. Silvertongue was bothering him... but he wouldn't let that get in the way of Sunpaw's first gathering. He looked around for a moment and and spotted at least a dozen different cats from all clans...except Windclan.
Where were they? He wondered. The leaders seemed tense, and that worried him.
He turned to Sunpaw, his voice light and calm. No need to scare his new apprentice. Runningfern watched as the leaders as they took their posts.
He smirked;
pop quiz!
" Sunpaw, can you identify one cat from each clan for me?"

Eclipsemoon saw Runningfern. Runningfern purred deeply.
" Hello Dartpaw, Arrowpaw, Runningpaw..." His purr got deeper as he said that last name. Runningpaw... memories flashed back to him as he thought about his apprenticeship.
" Hello Eclipsemoon. How are you all today?" He leaned in closer to whisper to Eclipsmoon.
" How are things with you and-uh, Silvertongue?" The two hadn't spoken for a long while, and he was genuinely curious of how that went.

So Sunpaw are you excited to train to become a warrior.I sure am.[/pink] [Sunpaw misread the Gathering list -- it said Sunmist, not Sunpaw. Sunpaw never was at the gathering. Thanks.]

-Am sorry but am very confused and trying to understand what all has happened.
Seastorm followed after them not saying much for a change. All the apprentices there gave off enough bouncing energy. She caught Runningfern approch and she glanced at Eclipse curiosity glowing in her eyes. she wondered if she should ask about it or just keep her mouth shut
Deathheart looked back in time to see Ivymoon fall into the water. She sighed that warrior was trouble but she was loyal at heart. She hoped. Then she looked at Maplestar reaction and took a slight disliking to the new leader. She smiled but didn't feel it. Deathheart never really liked gatherings it was to crowded and mixed emotions filled the air. She sat beside the leaders but didn't say anything.

"I suppose I will," she shrugged, seating herself. Following the older leader's example, Maplestar meowed a kind greeting to Deathstar, nodding her head with respect; just for old times sake.
She could tell the dissapearence of Windclan was troubling to the other leader, if not both. It bothered her mind, too. "Should we...should we wait for them?"
Ivymoon had taken a seat just within range of hearing Maplestar, and she winced at the thought. If Windclan comes, she thought bitterly, that little brat will come with it.
The scratch still stung.

Scarletpaw padded after her mentor, almost to excited to stay beside him. There seemed to be a million cats around!
"This is amazing!" She said to Talonwing. He had asked her to stay by his side and she did. They padded up to another medicine cat. As Talonwing was speaking, Scarletpaw noticed an apprentice sitting beside the older medicine cat named Sunmist.
"Hi, i'm Scarletpaw." She said in a friendly voice.

Redpaw had been sort of spacing, staring at the other cats in the gathering when Scarletpaw approached them. He focused his attention on the present and gave the other apprentice a nod and a shy, but friendly smile. "I'm Redpaw," he said quietly, looking from Scarletpaw to Talongwing. "So, are you Talonwing's apprentice?" The other apprentice had the faint smell of herbs clinging to her fur like most medicine cats did, but there was still the chance that she was a normal warrior apprentice. It's not like he would know, after all, he hadn't met the other medicine cats and their apprentices yet.[/color]
