Question, sorry if this isn't in the correct place

Hello I am new to Silver Moon and I haven't read the books. I've checked the rules and most other places and I can't seem to figure it out,
Is it alright to use wild cats, like panthers, tigers, and large cats like that? I saw something about bobcats but I'm used to playing as a large cat and didn't want to disrupt the boards.

The bobcats are bad guys unique to the site's plot. The cats of the Clans are just your everyday, ordinary housecats. Far as I know, it's too far along in the plot to create new bobcat characters, but that's something Raven or someone will have to tell you for sure, because I don't know.
