[Thread is open to anyone, though replies may take a day or two on my part. Please, if more than one person joins the thead, plllease don't leave me too far behind! <3]
A pair of brown paws kneaded the dusty ground. The tom stood beside the wall of a falling barn, looking up at the roof, thinking. Quickly, without a sound, he leaped up and onto the unstable planks, digging his claws into the old wood. Like had been nice so far. Once in awhile he would think of her and his heart would stop - only once in awhile. He lay his head on his paws. Thinking about him thinking about her made him think about her again, he knew. He tried to avoid it, but it never entirely helped. Oh well.
As far as Rahk knew, he was alone on this old roof. He'd rather be alone, the other rogue cats were by far too much like dogs. Worthless slop. Nothing like his father's old pack. There had been a group of real cats! he thought, grinning. Rahk turned his head toward the ground, sensing movement. He almost missed his friends, her. Definantly her. It had been his father's fault she'd left, after all, but Rahk never put the blame there. He'd been taught not to. Yet his mind never followed suit. Rojor's fault, Rojor's fault. Rahk shook his head, narrowing his eyes. Something was down there...but what?

He smelled a rouge. The earthy smell of dirt and dried blood insulted its way into his nasal cavity and cushioned his dark eyes. Instead of recoiling he embraced the scent and, like any good rouge leader, took the blood of his last fresh kill and coated his reddened paws, wiping it on his ears and face as if he were grooming himself. Perfect!
Dante coiled his toned muscles and wriggled his hind haunches, launching his lithe little body onto a large water barrel and straight up onto the roof. He sized the other male up, smirking with his yellowed fangs poking through his lips and jowls. His voice resonated deeply in his chest, his bib puffing out, the matted parts jutting out like spears. Like medals, caked in ruby mud. "Hello, chum."

He turned, giving the tom a welcoming grin. "Afternoon." The other cat was a tad larger; mostly in muscle, not height. He had the strong sort of look, Rahk told himself. Possibly intelligent, possibly not. Hopefully the other. Wait a second.
Rahk narrowed his eyes, studying the other rogue with a strange intensity. "I've seen you before, I think." He said slowly, pulling his head back to a moreso comfortable position. "Did you know Rojor, my father? Perhaps I've just seen you around, if not." He shrugged.

Ha! Rojor. That son of a badger was not a name for him to be remembering with a fond mind. Of course he knew Rojor! His claws, remembered most vividly. The old pack leader was gutted from his nave to his chops, Dante held the old cat down and squeezed the blood from his stomach and throat, his paws were still drenched in it.
He hung his head in shame, however, his remorse showing in detail, from the lowering to his ears, head and tail, to showing the whites of his eyes and lowering his voice. He even went so far as to stutter, taking a moment to swallow the "knot" forming in his throat, formulating his words. " Young tom, son of Rojor, I-I am honored to be the first one to share this horrid news, honored, and spiritless as well. What I must say, I wish I needn't, but I am afraid you need to know..." He sighed heavily, as if regaining his composure after chocking on his last pause, and made it look like a large effort to meet this other toms eyes. His eyes, were dark and warm with sympathy and sadness. " Your father, Rojor, is dead." Brilliant.

[Beware if his personality contradicts himself sometimes. Rahk's a newbie, so I'm expiramenting. ^ 3^]
"Oh Gods," Rahk breathed, his voice flat and emotionless. His eyelids lowered a tad. "Whatever shall I do? I do believe I may cry." His lips formed a smile. "Good show, comrade. But I must say, I've already heard that. Cat or two led me to his leftovers, actually. Horrible thing." He winced, scrunching up his nose. "Probably left me scarred in some way, to be honest. I'm probably mad now. You never know you're mad." The brown tom lifted his head, eyeing the other cat down his nose. "You probably killed him, I bet, with that sort of look you've got. Not one cat I've met would ever perform so much theatrics if they hadn't killed the cat themselves. Rojor used to do that." He gave the other a toothy grin, staring past his shoulder. "Actually, I'm more or less certain you killed him. You fit the discription rather well. I would say thank you if the entire thing had worked in my favor. Suppose I may miss daddy from time to time." He turned his head slightly, as if willing himself not to shed tears. His face hardened. "I may even have to kill you."
Rahk waited a moment before bursting into laughter. If the cat was the same one he'd heard about, the momen't wouldn't feel as awkward as if Rahk had just told the same thing to a clancat. "Oh a lighter note," he chuckled, "I'm Rahkashi. Rahk, if you would."

Disgusted. Dante kept his stance and ears lowered, backing away from the other tom as if he were submissive. Listening to his change in his tone, he smiled darkly. His ears perked, although he refused to raise his head, only his eyes. " Young tom," he growled. " Chum. If you think you can kill me, then may the gift you seem to think you posses guide your claws straight to my 'eart." He slowly rose, lifting himself with his knees and tilting his head to the skies. " I killed your father. You should be gracious! He was no cat. He was a coward!"
Poisonous words. He let 'coward' drip from his fangs and down his chin, giving himself time to think of his new campaign. " Although, he fought well. As I recollect, he did me a few good wounds me'self. You-you look like a good soldier. Yes, I can see it in you, Rahk, the fight is there. Let me ask you something, Rahk. Have you ever been hurt? Betrayed, by a loved one? Has anyone ever taken your one and only love?" He suddenly became intensely sincere, his jaw clenching and his face rolling into a wicked snarl.

"Oh, no." He said quickly, shrugging. "I'm not like Rojor. If I were to kill you, you would see another cat. One working for me, if you will. I've only touched a victim once," he said. "The thrill it gave me was a complete surprise. A disgusting sort of surprise. Bloodthirsty, you see. Serial-killer personality in me somewhere, and I can't have that."
Rahk shrugged again at the other tom's harsh words on his father. "I wouldn't stoop so low so quickly, comrade. Coward may be too big a word. He was a good leader when he wasn't being a bastard. He was a good father when he wasn't being a bastard. Unfortunantly, he was [most of the time] a bastard." That was good. That was funny. Rahk let himself laugh a bit, shaking his head as the cat spoke. "Don't try to get to me with flattery, never been one to take it well. I never could fight as well as Rojor. His death ended my training. I know a good fighting technique when I see one, though."
His chuckling ended upruptly at the other's question, and Rahk's eyes narrowed to slits. "'Course. Rojor, actually. He took many a true love. Tried to kill her, but she got out of it. Clancat now, as if it weren't bad enough already. "But betrayed? My Star would never betray me. She hasn't the heart." For a moment or two, the choclate tom paused and looked sad, though with a blink he was his normal self, tail flicking.

Dante was pleasantly furious. " Granted he was a powerful leader." His eyes slitted themselves until they were dark with hatred. " But it was a good fight. Your father was an honorable cat, but the things he did were cowardly." He watched the sky slowly pass clouds over head. His tail lashing wickedly he continued.
" Ever since I killed your father, I've been alone. I've been trying to recruit cats for a-a long time battle I've been having." He looked around, waving his head from side to side. Things were a bit blurry, his eyes were un-focused and he was having problems standing properly. He sat. " Eh? Star? I knew her... heard about her anyway. Her and her loud friend left. Tch tch, too bad. They would have been great... I'm looking for someone too."

A dark she-cat had followed there movements tuning in to the words. She listened intently stalking expertly through the winding streats. "Young tom, son of Rojor, I-I am honored to be the first one to share this horrid news, honored, and spiritless as well. What I must say, I wish I needn't, but I am afraid you need to know...". She grinned at the empty words she was no fool she had seen for herself that he was the cause of the cats death. In many ways it was the cats own fault he died. If you don't watch your followers they will turn on you and thats that. "You probably killed him, I bet, with that sort of look you've got. Not one cat I've met would ever perform so much theatrics if they hadn't killed the cat themselves. Rojor used to do that.". Caught in the act she thought it over and his word where true the other cat had put to much emotion into it. They then broke off in more so to speak good humored chat. She followed them half listening after that.
Her ears perked up again as word caught her ear."Have you ever been hurt? Betrayed, by a loved one? Has anyone ever taken your one and only love?". She gritted her teeth as her yellow eyes flamed it was best not to dwell on such thing. She decided to hide her presence no longer ant with two artful jumps she landed on the roof. She could now see the too she had observed. The one named Dante and the other Rahk. She wondered if they'd recognize her the one rouge that never stay to near the camp always on the outskirts. She grinned which showed surprisingly clean teeth."Hello"

Rahk narrowed his eyes: more curiously than untrusting of the other cat's words. "What sort of fight will you be having? I personally wouldn't mind following along, it could help me find-- "Oh, hello to you, too!"
He was surprised and a bit angry the conversation had been intruded upon, but shoved that away and grinned at the female. "Would it be possible to know your name? Mine is Rahkashi, Rahk for short." His eyes narrowed suddenly in recognition: he'd seen her somewhere. Probably just out and about, he figured.

Dante stiffened at the other cats voice without turning around. Damn it!His skin tinged with the urge to raise his hackles, but he denied them the satisfaction. His jaw remained loose. His ears remained pleasantly perked, and his tail remained charmingly buoyant. He drew in a long breath before turning around. I'll let Rahkashi do the talking, he figured, it will save me the trouble. This tom was a strange tom, he could be dangerous... if he had followers, Dante gathered. He watched the two talk through slit eyes. Who was she...? He'll wait to speak.

Firefly stared she knew who he was not his name though that was new.Rahkashi.. She knew that name is was the cat's son. She smiled no warmth in it. "and I am Firefly".She looked past Rahk to spot Dante. Her eyes sparkled as she watched him. There was the mastermind behind the murder. She had found him and he had been seeking aid as well. Then she flashed her eye's back to Rahk. Yawning she streached not really having anything to say.
