Mistyclaw padded into the warriors' den, tired from patroling and hunting. She sat down in her nest, bringing with her a mouse from the fresh-kill pile. She began to eat it, savouring the taste of fresh prey in late Leafbare. When she had finished, she licked her paws clean. She also licked her chest, her fur had been ruffled while she had been hunting. Now it shone silvery again. She wondered where every cat was, and felt a little lonely. Her blue gaze swept the den, but it was still empty except for her.

(first time playin Adventure. so this should be interesting)
Adventurestrike padded into the warriors den filled from head to paw with pain. He flopped down on his nest and groaned painfully. He began licking his fur trying to help soothe his invisible wounds. His tail tip began twitching uncomfortably as his thoughs swam in around his head. Windclan missing. He though miserably. Yes, he had noticed their scents seemed to dissapear but knowing they were truly missing was even worse. Great now my sister's gone just like my father. He sighed and flexed his claws in frustration as he looked up from grooming. He saw Mistyclaw and let out a gasp of shock and he recoiled hitting his head on the sided of the den. Foxdung he muttered. This day was never going to get better was it? He paused for a moment. Starclan..... are useless He thought bitterly. finally he turned to Mistyclaw. Um hello? Okay now he felt sick. He should really go see Leopardfire.

Mistyclaw finished her mouse and glanced up to see a tom pad into the den. Her blue gaze looked surprised, no one had been in the den all day, except for herself. She wrapped her tail around her paws, her gaze watching Adventurestrike, he seemed quiet, and didn't want any cat to bother him. I wonder if he's lost someone from WindClan? She thought about the lost Clan and shuddered, wondering if it had been ThunderClan instead. She looked up as Adventurestrike greeted her. She looked at him for a moment and answered "Hello." she said, a little unsure if he would continue the conversation.

He flexed his claws into the ground uneasily. He had never been good with talking to others. So hows your life going? Oh yeah smooth nice. That's gonna go far with the conversation. How about a simple whats new? No instead I have to do How's your life going. He sighed and his tail tip twitched again. Did you knnow anyone in Windclan?

Mistyclaw could tell he was obviously not good at making conversations, but he seemed willing enough for it to continue. Her ears pricked up as he asked her How her life was going. "Umm...Pretty well I guess." she said. As he said WindClan her head shot up "No, not closely anyways. What about you? Did you know anyone?" she asked, her tail tightening around her paws. The whole WindClan problem made her a little uneasy. She knew that her brother, Jayfeather, had known some cat in WindClan.

He nodded as he listened to her. My sister is in Windclan. He managed, somehow, to get out. He took a deep breath. What a failure he was. Can't even talk to a cat he thought darkly. I'm glad yuor having a better life than me. He mutttered. Yeah great make it sound like your mad at her. Good job. He though to himself angrily. I'm sorry. I'm not really good at talking to others and stuff. And maybe a little messed up in the head.He confessed to himself.

Mistyclaw's blue gaze was on his face as her talked about his sister. "I'm sorry...." she said, feeling bad for him. She watched him curiously, wondering what he meant by 'Well I'm glad your life's going better than mine.' but it sort of reminded her of her brother Jayfeather. She missed him terribly, but he had vanished soon after WindClan had. She knew he'd come back, but she couldn't think the same for WindClan. Her gaze flicked back to him as he apologized "It's alright, my brother is a lot like you. Well...until you get to know him anyways." she said, a faint smile on her face as she thought of her brother. She wished he'd come back sooner, she didn't want to lose him like she had Echopaw.

He nodded. I'm sorry about your brother. He looked to his paws. My brother is a lot like you..... She had said. He wondered about this thought but cast it aside for now. Did you know anyone in Windclan? He looked at her as he curled his tail around his paws. Maybe her brother did....... He sighed and looked glumly to his paws. Maybe I'll go hunting later. He mumbled to himself

Mistyclaw, was thinking about Jayfeather, but made sure she paid attention. "I sort of did. There was this she-cat, my brother fell in love with her....Then she vanished." she wondered if she should have told him this, but what did it matter? Jayfeather was gone for the time being, and he would return with or without the WindClan she-cat. She sighed, there wasn't much hope that Jayfeather would find her. Mistyclaw's eyes were clouded with greif, she didn't want to see Jayfeather upset. She quickly hid her emotions, but a trace of sadness was still in her gaze. "I think I'll have to go hunting to get my mind off things....." she said quietly to herself, not at all hearing Adventurestrike mutter almost the same thing.

He layed his tail on her shoulder seeing the sadness in her eyes. Im sorry. I hope your brother finds the she cat. He flexed his claws again. If you want we could go hunting together later if you want. He felt bad for her and he knew it was his fault for asking. I wonder if you know the she cat Windy. Wouldn't surrpise but then you could tell us what happened. He thought still confused at how they all dissapeared.

Mistyclaw felt slightly comforted by Adventurestrike's words. "Thankyou..." she said, wondering where her brother was. As he brought up hunting, her gaze flicked back to his face. So she hadn't covered up her sadness well, had she? "Ok, that sounds good....I haven't been out hunting for a while." she said, a faint smile on her face.

He nodded.Your welcome. He lsitened to her still. She hadn't been out hunting for a while?Shame. He stopped.I go out but not to hunt. He threw the thought away. Yeah I haven't exactly hunted either. I go out to think or look for a sign of Windclan but find nothing. Chuckles. I used to sneak out of camp to see Windrunner. Gets quiet again. But then she stopped coming and I'd still go but it seemed as if something was wrong. I swore that I would never stop going. He stopped himself and shook his head. Why am I saying this stuff out to her?It won't bring her back or do anything. Maybe she'll tell Ravenstar.

Mistyclaw usually felt the same "I go out too...just to think." she said quietly. She listened as he spoke of Windrunner, where have I heard that name before? she thought to herself. Puzzled, she kept listening. "I remember, when I was an apprentice, I used to sneak out to see Fernpaw in RiverClan." she remembered the young tom quite clearly. He was part of the reason why she had wanted to move to RiverClan some moons ago. But, they had grown apart, and Jayfeather didn't trust the young RiverClan tom. She wondered why she was telling him about her apprenticehood. But then again, he was talking about his life too.

He nodded listening to her. Yeah I left Windclan to coem here or it was Windy who left Thunderclan t go to Windclan. I can't remember. It was the worst days of my life when I found myself all alone in Thunderclan. Fernpaw of Riverclan. He wondered but couldn't remember if he heard the name before. He yawned, not tiredly or boredly he just felt like yawning.

Mistyclaw half-smiled to herself "When I was a kit, I felt alone too....Before Echopaw left..." she said. She listened closely to him, so he had been a WindClan cat? That must be really hard for him now that they've vanished. she thought. Her blue gaze was kind as it rested on his face. When he yawned she couldn't help but ask "Am I boring you?" once again he reminded her of Jayfeather.
