Age: 7 moons
Gender: Female
Desired Position: Kittypet
Accessories:
She has a thin brown leather collar equipped with a gold bell and tag - her housefolk have made her wear it since she was a kitten.Appearance:
Alaska is a small, dainty cat. Her angora-like pelt makes up much of what little weight she does have. She's not sickly, just small. She appears to be at least a moon younger than forest cats the same age.Personality:
Her pelt is of pure white, kept groomed to the point of glittering. Her eyes are large and slightly almond-shaped. One eye is blue, one is amber. She is deaf on the side of the blue eye. She tends to hold her head slightly cocked to one side because of it.
This kittypet gives the impression of a vague, somewhat clueless half-wit, but she is far from it. Those seemingly benign statements she makes tend to - beneath the surface - be insightful observations. Part of this behavior is her own protection - other cats are much less likely to attack a kit-like idiot than they are an intelligent cat like herself who might pose some threat. They're also much more likely to talk in front of her, thinking that she wouldn't understand the conversation anyway.History:
Past that, Alaska a kind cat who loves to help others, although usually in a round-about way. She's also deathly afraid of water deeper than a dishpan.
Alaska was born to a kittypet mother and a loner father, although she never knew either of them. She was the youngest born, and the runt, of a litter of six, none of whom she remembers. When she was only two moons old she was sent to live with her housefolks and was raised by them. She was the last of her siblings to go to their new home. This was because her mother's housefolk weren't even sure if such a small kit would live.Sample post: Family:
Her new Twolegs were an older couple with no children, and no other pets, so she had no competition for their affection but was also very lonely. There were a few cats in their neighborhood, but not many. But recently her housefolk moved (bringing her, of course) to live near the lake. It was there that she discovered, to her delight, that there were clans of cats living in the forest. Although she still prefers to live with her housefolk, Alaska has gone visiting to the Clans before. She hasn't always been welcome, but her docile appearance has helped her avoid being scratched up.
