Ebony padded silently, and swiftly through the shadows of the shadowclan camp perimeter. She carefully spied out what dens were where, and which was the leaders' den; her eyes flittering back and forth, claws readied, ears alert for any signs of an upcoming clan cat. I hope no cats can scent me, i tried to get the shadowclan scent off of a tree, but i bet it didn't work. she wrinkled her nose as she stalked the shadows, all she could smell was the pure scent of clan cat. She stopped next too a tree, the shade easily camouflaged her pure black body. How did ever do this? I bet she just barged into the camp unaware of what was going to happen. Ebony snorted at this fact. She wasn't always the one too be so rude, but when someone barges into a clan cat camp, it's pretty funny. I slight movement from the leaders' den caught her attention, she saw a cat walking into the den, Ebony held her breath Must be the deputy she continued patrolling the perimeter, until she reached the utmost side of the leaders' den waiting for Deathstar to pad out of the den.

A dark she-cat lay asleep but her jerks and tosses gave way it was a troubled dream. The small dark she-cat walked out.She was in a particularly bad mood the affects of her dream still clung to her. Her eye's flashed with anger as she glared at the knew cat. "And who might you be". Realizeing she was being hot headed she sighed and looked away to hide the sorrow in them. When she looked back her eye's where lest threating."Why are you here? are you lost" there was a soft hint in her voice but it came out hard. the she-cat did not appear to be a rouge but her ability to make it this far into camp worried her. Her eyes where now narrowed she'd hope her clan would be move vigilant."How did you get in here" her voice was hostile once more.Who was this unknow cat.

Ebony's ears were alert when she herd soft pawsteps making their way out of the den. A pure black she-cat walked out, her eyes quickly darted angrily over to Ebony "And who might you be?" the leaders' voice was stern and unforgiving My name is Ebony, ma'am she said as soft and politely as she could; The leader barked out another question No, I'm not lost. I want to join shadowclan she shifted her weight to her front paws and sat down, shifting her front paws eagerly. The leader took a moment to think " How did you get in here?" the leaders' voice was even more hostile than before, Ebony flinched away I ran around the perimeter to your den Ebony knew this was a wrong move I should've met a warrior first so they could introduce me too her. second thoughts raced in her head as she waited for the leaders' reply I hope she'll let me in, and not chase me out... she tried to keep emotion from distorting her face, and she tried to clear her mind Oooh, I hope she lets me into the clan

"you want to join the shadowclan" her voice was slow word for word.Why would you want to do that the other clans are nicer. "Hmm what can you do Ebony other than sneak around'. Her gaze softened a bit since the cat wanted to join."If you join the shadowclan then you must abide by the rules set down by the starclan, do you know what there are?' she hoped so because the last thing she wanted to do was go over the rules the starclan had given them. She looks useful so it shouldn't be to bad depending on her answer, but if we pick up to more strays will look like the thunderclan. She laughed lightly at the thought then turned her attention back to the she-cat.

Ebony stared deep into the leaders' eyes, she had quite the short stature but that was no reason to under estimate her. "you wish to join shadowclan?" Ebony nodded, the leader took a short pause "So what can you do, besides sneak around?" The leaders' gaze finally met hers. Ebony took a second to think about the question What can i do? pfft she stayed as emotionless as posable I can fight, and I'm a swift hunter She answered after pondering her thoughts, why the leader was pausing so often. "if you join in shadowclan, then you must abide by the rules set down by the starclan, do you know what there are?" this question puzzled Ebony Think; rules set by starclan, rules, rules OH! her eyes lit up when she remembered what her sister had taught her Yes I do.

"Alright then " she forced a smile on her face witch looked plastered on. Then she let it fade saying "Do you wish to remain simply Ebony or do you want an ending to your name?" she didn't wait for an answer but continued on. "Do you swear to protect the clan with you life?" her eyes locked with Ebony this time and they where ice cold.I will not have shadowclan be made a fool. She had chosen this to let this cat in to the Shadowclan. She had the confidence to do well and she gave off her own aroura. Hope am right to let you in.

The leaders' eyes locked onto hers, they seemed to burn into Ebony's soul "Do you wish to remain Ebony or do you want your name to end in somthing?" asked the leader Should I become a warrior or start from square one? this question burned into her brain I wish to start as an apprentice, to sharpen my skills and prove myself to the clan Ebony's confidence rose when she knew she was going to be let into the clan. Lets hope I can pass her tests her ice blue eyes where like a liquid metal of some sort, excitement rose in their tone. I shouldn't hold my breath though. She's probably going to have me be with a really strict mentor.Yes I do she answered the leaders' last question with hope.

"Okay ill see what I can do" she said yawning and stretching. Then she flicked her tail and said "The last question will also be asked when you become a warrior I hope you are with us then" she said and flicked her tail in a follow me motion. She led Ebony to the center of camp and pointed a paw to the fresh kill pile."This is the fresh kill pile as an apprentice you must hunt for the elders and queens before you eat ". Then she walked to the apprentice den and flicked her tail to it. "This is where you'll be sleeping chose a spot where the sent is stale or there is none". Then she looked back at the she-cat "Any questions?".[/size]

The leader said a few words before beckoning Ebony to follow her "You must hunt for the elders and queens before yourself" she explained. Deathstar stopped at a den that was slightly smaller than the rest "This is the apprentices den, chose a spot were the scent is stale or there is none" she said, flicking her tail to the entrance too the den. Ecitement welled up in Ebony's chest as she entered the den. She lowered her head to the ground to tell where the scent was, she found a small spot in the corner with some moss still there. This should be enough moss to sleep on there was a very stale scent, about a moon or so. Ebony turned to Deathstar Thank you, Deathstar she said bowing her head gratefully at her new leader. Time to start over Ebony
