Clan Meeting (All TC cats)(DEPUTY AND APPRENTICES)

Raccoonpelt was aroused by the cats moving around him. He didn't want to get up just yet, so in his laziness waited a few moments before dragging his body upward. Raccoon let out a huge yawn while stretching. Only light paws could be heard as he walked out of the warrior's den and settled at the back of the crowd. Raccoonpelt knew he was late, but hoped no one would notice.

Ravenstar smiled down at the group of cats as they all shifted with smiles and sly glances. The four cats said 'I do', a few even seemed nervous or more likely terrified. He jumped down from his spot and padded up to Darkpaw. "Then by the powers invested in me, from this moment on Darkpaw will be known as Darkthorn." He stepped forward and rested his muzzle on the top of the new warriors head. He drew back and nodded, a small smile on his face, "Congratz Darkthorn. You will make a fine warrior." He stepped to the side and faced Dartpaw "From this moment on Dartpaw will now be known as Darkclaw" He rested his muzzle on the top of the new warriors head and then drew back, speaking to the new warrior. "Nicely done, Congratz."

Turning Ravenstar padded over to his own two apprentices, his eyes glowing proudly. He pulled his tail to his side as a small thin breeze ruffled the group. He stopped before Firepaw and nodded to her, then spoke. "From this moment on Firepaw will be known as Firesong". He rested his muzzle atop her head and then pulled back, "You did great Firesong. Congratz." Turning he moved to Silentpaw and smiled, "From this moment on Silentpaw will be known as Silentstorm." He rested his muzzle on his head and then pulled back and spoke. "If you need anything at all just ask. Congratz".

Turning he jumped back onto the highrock and faced the clan. "They have trained long and hard, Darkthorn trained with bravery, Dartclaw trained with intelligence, Firesong trained with personality, and Silentstorm trained with trust, all will make fine warriors." He waited for the clan to stop cheering, Everpaw cheered a little to happily. "Now for the apprentices." He turned his gaze on the cats of the clan. "Witherkit, Phenoixkit and Avengerkit, it is time for you guys to become apprentices. Stargazer, you are a smart and kind cat, Witherpaw will be your apprentice. Firestorm, you are a brave cat, your apprentice will be Phenoixkit. Raccoonpelt, you are" Late. "strong, your apprentice will be Avengerkit."

Finally Ravenstar waited for the mentors to greet their apprentices, then he took a deep breath and stepped forward. "Swiftshadow! Please step forward"

Stargazer began to make her way toward the new warriorsm ready with congratulatory comments on her lips, but Silversun stopped her.

"Star, didn't y'hear?"

"H-hear what?"

"You're mentorin' Witherpaw! Go, go!" Silversun pushed her friend toward the young cat, leaning through a throng of cats to her old apprentice, finally sitting just behind her. "Dartclaw," she said quietly, "congratulations. I'm gonna have t'say sorry for not really, well, bein' there for y'like I should've been. So...sorry." She shifted, facing the front now, peering over cats to watch Stargazer greet Witherpaw.

The gray she-cat leaned forward, just brushing noses with the young apprentice, murmuring a quiet thank you to Ravenstar.
It'll be fine, she told herself. I will...do what I did with Darclaw! Yes. It will be fine.

[Witherpaw]

Witherkit hissed spitefully as she watched the apprentices become warriors. There was always something about warrior ceremonies that filled her with jealousy. She ignored the rest of the meeting and padded over to the fresh kill pile; selecting a plump mouse. But the Witherkit heard something that made her choke on the fresh kill. I'm b-being m-made a 'prentice?!? Witherkit recoiled in embarrassment when she realized she yelled that out loud. All she could do now was stare in shock when Ravenstar gave her an apprentice name. Witherpaw wandered over; dazed and confused; to Stargazer and touched noses. StarClan, I can't believe it. I'm an apprentice.

Firestorm watched over to Dartclaw and smiled to her. "Congradulations on being made a warrior." He smiled. She had always shown promise and strength through out her training. His green eyes shone approvingly. As he turned his attention too Ravenstar once again. Listening to the new apprentice's he heard his name after Phoenixpaw's. He grinned it had been a while since his last apprentice and he paddled over to the newly made apprentice. "Hello Phoenixpaw." He smiled to the young tom.

Avengerkit now Avengerpaw smirked. I guess he was right, Becomeing a warrior or an apprentice ment you moved up in ranks. Apparently Avengerpaw was now an apprentice to become warrior after 'training'. He didn't need training, he could hunt and fight already. Before Thunderclan he was hunting and fighting. He hunt his own prey, and fought his own battles when his murder father wasn't around. Oh well, maybe I can pick up something and become a warrior next moon or sooner. I don't have to train with these losers. Avengerpaw thought.

Silentstorm just nodded when given his warrior name. His eyes narrowed slightly at Ravenstar's comment. Just ask? Is that supposed to be a joke? He shook his head as if to banish the thought. He turned to face his Clan, his eyes still narrowed. Now all that's left is the vigil. No problem, it'll be like a blessing from StarClan if I am able to break it,[/b] he thought bitterly and stepped back to watch the new apprentices and their mentors.[/color]

Swiftshadow cheered briefly for the new warriors and then settled down, content with just watching the new warriors and apprentices. But when Ravenstar called him, his eyes widened in surprise. He paused for a moment before reminding himself that he needed to go forward.

He pushed himself to his paws and approached Ravenstar with long and somewhat slow strides. He stopped in front of his leader and looked up at him waiting for an explanation. Curiosity burned in his belly as he waited.[/size]

Dartclaw turned to her old mentor and nodded. It wasn't her fault. Dartclaw thought. She was just so busy so she didn't have time. It doesn't matter anyway, I'm warrior now so everything's fine. She looked at Firestorm's green eyes and nodded. She looked back up at Ravenstar and she smiled as he called Phoenixkit. She knew how much her friend wanted to be an apprentice then warrior.

[red]Phoenixkit looked up surprised. He didn't expect to become an apprentice now. He thought he'd have to wait longer. He smiled excitedly. Train hard and lsten to your mentor and you'll be a warrior in no time. He thought determindly. He jumped at his mentor's voice. He nodded speechless. He looked up at Ravenstar listening for the rest of the meeting.[/red]

Darkthorn turned to Ravenstar and nodded solemnly. It suddenly seemed dangerous and terrifying to become a warrior, and with the sudden threat of Dante on his mind, Darkthorn wondered if now was the best time to be named. Then again, the honor was too much to pass off. And when Ravenstar said he trained with bravery, he looked to his paws and shuffled his claws over the moist earth.

After the warriors, the apprentices and mentors were named. Stargazer had become a mentor, and he planned on congratulating her, but before her, there was Dartclaw.
"Congratulations, friend." He whispered to her as he walked past, flicking her with the tip of his tail.
"Stargazer!" He mrrowed happily, "Oh, congratulations Stargazer! I'm so happy for you-"
But, he sensed a strange tension between her and Silversun, and looked from one to the other, sadness in his eyes. "Hello, Silversun." He said, respect flooding his voice. He nodded to her, and then turned his sights on Witherpaw. "Hello Witherpaw, Stargazer is a wonderful, and kind mentor. You will flourish with her as your mentor, and will be a warrior in no time. The best one yet, I expect." He added playfully.

[Witherpaw]

Th-thank y-you! I s-sure sh-she is. Witherpaw purred in agreement. What she ddn't agree on though, was becoming the best warrior. Like that would ever happen. I'll probably be the worst warrior. Witherpaw didn't actually say that out loud since it might sound like she was saying Stargazer was a bad mentor; which she most likely wasn't. T-try m-my b-best, th-that's f-for s-sure! Witherpaw nodded.

Witherpaw padded over to the newly named Phoenixpaw. C-congratulations, Ph-Phoenixpaw! Her voice dropped down into a whisper. Or sh-should I s-say, Phoenixstar. the tabby playfully flicked his ear. H-how's it f-feel b-being a 'prentice? Witherpaw purred questioningly. I know what it feels like; it feels great.

Firesong practically leaped out of her fur at her new name Firesong, it has a ring too it! she smiled, and purred with happiness. She skipped gleefully back into the crowd of cats, remembering she turned and nodded at Ravenstar knowing he didn't notice. Firesong sat next too the newly named Dartclaw, she peered over at him; she nodded and smiled, her green eyes glowed. Ravenstar's voice rang around the clearing as he called forth the kits, they were named apprentices and Ravenstar soon appointed their mentors. I wonder if I'll ever have an apprentice? she asked herself, as she gazed approvingly at the two apprentices in front of her; Pheonixpaw and Witherpaw They are such a cute couple! she tried not to laugh at this thought, it was like she had a second personality sometimes she was always arguing with herself now No, I have to be responsable. I am a warrior now, not a little apprentice I need too learn to grow up!

Dartclaw turned to Darkthorn. Congrats to you too. You earned it. She turned to Phoenixpaw and smiled at him. Firestorm was lucky to get him as an apprentice. He'll train hard to become what he wants to be. He won't give up. She turned around to see Firesong. Hi Firesong. Congratulations on becoming a warrior.

[red]Phoenixpaw whacked her with his tail lightly. Shhhhhhh. We can't let anyone know. He told her softly but then raised his voice. You'll make a great apprentice I know it. You waited a long time for this. Now you get to shine. He smiled at her happily. [/red]

[Witherpaw]

Hehe. Oops! Witherpaw chuckled nervously. S-sorry 'bout th-that. She dipped her head in apology. S-so Ph-Phoenixst-uhh, Phoenixpaw, y-you excited? I am! Th-this is t-too g-great! Wh-whoo! Witherpaw bounced around excitedly. I m-mean, n-nice d-don’t y-you th-think? She became as still as a rock in her attempt to remain calm. It was a lot harder than she thought, as she occasionally let out giggles and snickers. After only a few moments Witherpaw couldn’t hold it in anymore and burst out laughing. Th-this j-just t-too c-cool!

"Darkthorn," Silversun said, a small grin lighting her face. "Cogratulations. You've sure earned it, I can tell y'that."
She settled back with her full attention foward, glancing once at Stargazer.

"Oh, congratulations yourself, Darkthorn!" she purred, her muzzle curling with a smile. As he spoke to Witherpaw, Stargazer shrugged her shoulders. "Oh, comrade." she said, then glanced back as Witherpaw greeted another apprentice. "Honestly, Darkthorn, I don't know how I'll do. I moreso helped encourage Dartpaw when Silversun was...not feeling...well. I..." she quieted down then, shrugging. It was a hopeless shrug now, her vocabulary was empty.

Conversation had sprouted out among the clan. It had been a while since Firestorm had taken an apprentice Phoenixpaw was his second. He was confedent he'd do well and he would pass everything that there was to being a warrior to his new apprentice. Phoenixpaw from what he could tell was ready to learn and become a great warrior and Firestorm could see that in him.
