Vast shrubs provided good cover for a bachelor cat, although a badger set was a bit more accommodating. Dante's set was far more than a regular den. It was a mansion. He dressed the inside with soft spongy moss, long stringy moss and down feathers from every type of bird he had ever caught. But, that was just the entrance. In the main den there was that plus more, pelts from animals he had left outside, whose furs had dried over days of sun, provided the softest of bedding, however uncommon it was. Nothing was too good for Dante, King of the Rouges. His catches lay in a neat pile adjacent the den, across from a smart pile of healing herbs of every sort. " I don't have the ties of clan boundaries, I have access to any herb." He explained, settling down on a pile of soft rabbit pelts, covered in down from goslings he'd found in a nest on the outskirts of the lake. " Take whatever you want from the pile's, and there's a stream out back that you can drink from. It runs in a small tunnel I dug that connects us to an underground stream." He sighed heavily, dragging a large plump mouse from the pile closest to him, he began eating. " So, why'd you join them bobcats anyway?"

Us... Bloodfur shook her fur abit while still at the entrance. She came in and looked around. Everything was here. From a dry den to the strem in the back to a soft nest to herbs and all sorts of things. Bloodfur ahd never seen a thing like this. She finally stopped looking around and her nutral but still dangerous look on she still wasn't sure. She took a vole from the pile on the side. She placed it between her paws and took a bite it's taste flooding her mouth. "Hopeing for more battles, take down the clans, something to do." She answered. Taking another bite. "This is an interesting den." She decided to comment.

Dante was, of course, immediately at home in his cozy den, but something in the back of his mind told him that inviting this she-cat was probably dangerous. Although, as she made herself comfortable, he relaxed. The feathers under-paw tickled his toes, and he shifted his weight so his legs were curled under his body, his fur swallowing his cold limbs. The rain patted the top of his den, making him shiver with the thought of getting wet. He hated water. Smiling a bit inwardly, he watched her take a vole as he made small talk. He figured the way to get at his burning question was to just come right out and say it, but he needed to get the invalid and futile practice of small talk. " Indeed...I fought the wretched thing for it's den, had it's kits for dinner- so, what is this whole taking over the clans thing?"

Bloodfur shrugged takeing another bit. She cleared her throat. "I don't know why the bobcat's are here. They just are and I'm only looking for more entertainment. I don't care about the clans they can burn for all I care." Bloodfur responded. She looked up at Dante again. Seeing him sitting there... Bloodfur's mind was yowling at her. She was a cold hearted bloodthirty cat that found pleasure in other pain and the thrill of battle and blood sticking to her fur. Could she really be feeling love. How did it come? She tried to push the feeling away, though everytime she did it seemed to get stronger. Bloodfur decided to consentrate on the sound of the falling rain outside.

Dante was not a romantic cat. His idea of a perfect mate was a she-cat as brutal and blood lustful as he, some one who would preferably not kill him in his sleep. She was as close to the perfect mate as he would ever dream of finding, in fact, she was perfect. As well as a mate, Dante planned on taking over the forest, and needed a mate to support his crusade. He watched the she-cat, his fur fluffing with amusement. He showed no real emotion on his face, which remained blank. " Entertaining, isn't it? Well, sometimes entertainment can be productive too. I have some business to handle with the clans myself." Darkpaw, that stupid kit. I'll get him soon enough, Dante assured himself.

Bloodfur nodded. Bloodfur wasn't interested in other cat's problems. If your weak you die and the strong live. It wasn't complicted just the way it was. "Hmhh, It can be." Bloodfur wasn't one for talk. She didn't talk to other cats all that often. Bloodfur really didn't know what to say to Dante.

Dante held his head high, his voice remained buoyant and strong. The thought of Darkpaw shook his nerves. That damned cat should never have been alive. " So, what do the bobcats plan on doing?" So what if he joined just to fight alongside the bobcats? He needed forces who wanted to fight on the same side as he and the bobcats were a perfect force. They were strong. They were lead. They were many. " Why do they want to kill the clans?"

Bloodfur licked her paw cleaning herself up. The blood under her claws were almost gone now. She looked up as Dante aske dher again about the bobcat's plans. "I don't know as of yet I only joined them today. After fighting with them I got bored and I dissappered and then ran into you. I'm thinking of going back in the morning to find out what you ask and what their next move is." Bloodfur replied. She thought she aswered that question already but she wasn't in the mood to argue over something so little if he asked agan then he'd get it.

His nose began to prickle with warning. She was getting testy with him, and he couldn't afford to loose his tail so soon. Prudently he changed the subject, and began focusing on her. " Bloodfur, those wounds look pretty bad... would you like some cobwebs, and maybe some poppy seed, for the pain-" He caught himself, and shook his ears calmly. "If a strong she-cat like you can, in fact, be pained, that is." Dante walked calmly over toward the herb pile, and waited patiently for her response, giving her a questioning look. His muscles were solid, yet fluid, like his speech normally was. Even as he whispered, the cat he was speaking to could taste the full intensity of his array of emotions, and was either inspired or intimidated, normally with one punching finishing word. Now his voice was tender, strong, but caring. He dropped his hindquarters to the earthen floor and tilted his head to one side playfully. "What d'you say? Poppy seed...cobwebs...? Your choice, you are the guest, for sure."

Bloodfur had kinda forgotten about her wounds. Her muzzel was dry with blood but her tail tricked some. And her forehead was kind of a mess from Rune's ranking claws. She had been careless abit in that fight. She looked at Dante. As she thought about her cuts her forehead begun to sting. Her tail twiched from side to side. Whould this runeing her reputation? Was she willing to dig herself deeper. She wasn't sure but what ever she got herself into she could climb out. She got to her paws and walked over to Dante. "Sure. It wouldn't hurt I suppose. Normally I'd just let it heal on it's own though." She said as she looked to the herbs wondering what really they all were. Bloodfur knew minamal. She never found intrest in herbs.

Nodding silently, he shook off some seeds from the poppy plant onto a leaf and carried it over to her, dropping some as he hobbled with cobwebs on one paw. His ears twitched as a small crack in a rock dripped water on his head, leaving but a small dark streak. Jumping, looking rather ridiculous as he did so, Dante finally settled in beside Bloodfur, giving her the seeds. "Very honorable." He muttered as he licked the dried blood from her fur and gently placed the cobwebs on the wound. "Sorry about my tongue, it's kind of hard to see the wound when blood is all over the place." His whiskers twitched around the cobwebs, and he soon found himself peeling them off his face. Ah, what a mess. He usually wasn't this scatter brained. "Sorry about this, it'll only be one more second." He muttered with embarrassment.

She took the poppy seeds swallowing them. Bloodfur was smaller then Dante so he didn't have to reach at all. His rough tongue came across her fur licking away the blood swiftly. It stung more as the blood was licked away. As he pressed cobwebs onto the cut. "It's alright." She answered calmly. Bloodfur was slightly amused by the way the cobwebs had made it onto his face.

Dante wiped the webs from his face, shaking his ears. It was embarrassing, however he would never show any emotion, especially not embarrassment. "Well, Bloodfur-" He walked over to the stream and lapped up some much needed water. "Make yourself at home- Be warned, it does get chilly at night." Dante curled his fluffy tail around his chilled paws and tilted his head to one side. "So, Bloodfur, what's your story?"

Bloodfur could see that the rain wouldn't be letting up any time soon. She walked to a dry spot. The sand was dry and was soft under her paws like the beach sand. Her tail curled around her paws comfertably. The pain from her wounds were dulled from the poppy seeds, and she was greatful for that. She turned her attention back to Dante as he asked about her story. Bloofur concitered telling him, once again she didn't see much real harm. "There's nothing really to it. 'Lightkit' was born in Windclan. For reasons my own. I taught myself to fight, hunting, building on it." Bloodfur explained. "I took on everyone as a kit and everything living. I used to have a flaming pelt but now you can barely tell because of all the blood stains over the moons. I took on the name Bloodfur. And so on with the passing moon, bobcats and now here. There's nothing but blood in my story." She finiashed. Bloodfur let him think about it and then parted her jaws to ask her own question. "And yours?" She asked continuing on the past storys topic.

( sorry for the lateness! ) Dante curled his legs beneath him and watched her from the den floor. Howling wind interrupted his thoughts, and a flash of light washed the darkness for a split second, shrinking and widening his pupils. 'My story?' he said pensively. 'It's a long one, but I guess we have time to spare, don't we?'A growl entered his tone as he rose, pacing, in the large den. "Well," He started, " I was the youngest of the first litter. My brother, Darkpaw, was the oldest of the third. The rest, died. I killed most of them, some were taken by disease, but most- by yours truly. "Anyway, my mother and father had been horrifically wronged by Shadowclan when my fathers evil brother was chosen as deputy and not him. So, we killed him. Then, another unworthy cat was chosen, and he too was killed. Finally, my parents decided they'd had enough, and wanted to make their own clan, a stronger clan, a better clan. Their plan was to take over the forest, but-" Stopping in mid pace, he turned to face Bloodfur, with wide and bright eyes, his voice dark with disdain. "My precious little brother and his crush ratted us out, and our dream was killed. So I killed the crush, and thought he would go too. But no, he came back with the full force of Thunderclan and killed them all. So I left, and took over a rouge pack in the mountains. They all died, the kits, and now I'm a loner."He settled back down onto the ground and waited silently, his eyes full of thought and malicious plan.
