Sunpaw heard her name and skidded clumsily to a halt. She looked up to see a long-legged red fox. Fear was bouncing around every corner of her body. For at least two minutes her muscles were refusing to do anything, but her heart seemed to be working hard enough for everything else.
After the initial shock was over she turned and ran as fast as she could. Her big webbed paws made her like a duck running. Blackpaw RUN!!!!!! She knew she didn't have to wait for Blackpaw was after all a WindClan cat, and he would most likely end up waiting for her any way. She couldn't stop Blackpaw could catch up, but when she looked back he wasn't coming yet.
Sunpaw turned around swiftly and leaped to keep the speed she had had before she turned. Blackpaw wouldn't know how to fight a fox yet. She leaped straight at the fox's face.

NO SUNPAW LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!!He ran toward her terrified.He unsheathed his claws and slashed at the fox.Clearly missing it.he didin't care though.He'd fight till the death for Sunpaw.

Sunpaw turned at the sound of Blackpaw saying her name, and that move right there might have just saved her life. When she turned around instead of the fox hitting her neck it only bit down on her paw. Sunpaw screamed in pain, but knew that she and Blackpaw had to get away.
Despite her agony the young she cat managed to rake her razor sharp claws across the face of the fox. Blackpaw quick! Let's get out of here while it's still in pain! the sense of urgency could be told without even looking at her blood-stained coat and widened eyes. Her voice alone told that she was in excruciating pain and would need to get to a safe place soon. If only Runningfern could have seen me. I'm an excellent fighter. Sunpaw was gloating to herself almost the whole time she and Blackpaw were running. But without Blackpaw's help I might have been killed back there. My ignorance is the thing that got us into that mess. I should have been looking out more. It was then that her feelings got all messed up. She was between being happy that she could now say she fought a fox and survived, and that she couldn't even have spotted the fox, because she was entranced by a light.

Sunpaw are you okay??He looked at her thne he remembered.Your a medicince cat help her.He flicked his tail follow me.He had found a litle pool of water that had moss cobwebs and some herbs.He grabbed some moss wetted it and washed her wounds.Adfter that he put cobwebs on her wounds tillt he blood stopped.Then he chewed up some marigold and put it on her wounds.Lastly he put cobwebs over the marigold to hold tjhem down.Sit.He sat down.It's a good thing I'm a medicince cat apprentice at times isn't it.He smiled at her.

Sunpaw waited patiently for the minute Blackpaw was gone. She twitched a little bit when the cool water touched her sensitive wound. Sunpaw didn't dare look at what was happening to her foot, she wasn't exactly good with blood. Soon she felt more cobwebs being pressed against her foot, most likely to stop the bleeding. The pain she felt was excruciating, but Sunpaw didn't want to make Blackpaw feel bad or be to gentle and not get the job done. Sunpaw stifled a cry when the marigold and cobwebs were placed on. She simply repeated to herself that this was for her own good and it would be done soon. The procedure of caring for her wounds was over soon. Yeah it's really good that you're a medicine cat. If not I would have had to go all the way back to RiverClan like that, and well that would have hurt. Sunpaw made sure that there was as little hint if any that she was in pain. Now the only thing is I have to explain how I got my foot all patched up. Hopefully no one will notice.

He nodded.God point.Is the medicince apprentice of your clan a friend?He licked a patch of fur sticking up.If they are you might be able to get them to be on your side.Which means if you tell the warrior or whoever that the Medicince cat apprentice of your clan did then if they don't believe you have the warrior ask.So when they ask and the medicince cat apprentice is on your side then they will lue to tell them.He stared at the tunnel wall with a stone face not smiling or frowning.Would i lie to protect myself???He turned to her.It's just a thought.He flicked his tail ad looked down the tunnel that the fox ran away to.He shivered.

The more she thought about it the more it seemed that it would work. She would do as Blackpaw had said, and it would all work out. She knew Redpaw would most likely cover her, but she could not say anything about the location of WindClan unless Maplestar, or some other high ranking cat asked her. She knew Redpaw wouldn't think that she and Blackpaw had anything, because Sunpaw would make up some story. That would work! Sunpaw was ecstatic that she and Blackpaw could have a relationship, but keep it a secret. If they got older, and had kits she just would keep who the father was a secret. A she-cat didn't need to tell anyone who it was. Blackpaw I'm so happy. We can be together, and not let anyone find out. It's possible. The only problem was that she would have to sneak out of the camp a lot, but she could do that for Blackpaw.

Sunpaw's eyes lit up when she heard Blackpaw's plan. That sounds like fun. We could go off and on every week warrior training then Medicine cat training. Sunpaw had always been amazed at what medicine cats could do. Heal cats, memories a ton of herbs and poultices. They can save many cats, but she knew it was stressful, and the whole talking to StarClan seemed fun, but intimidating.

Sunpaw nodded at Blackpaw's response. She looked away for a second, and then looked back only to find Blackpaw had gone. Blackpaw?!? She cried out What if he's going to tell his clan I'm here? What if he really doesn't love me and was just waiting for a moment like this to turn me in? I'm hurt, and even if I wasn't he'll still get back here with his clan mates before I can get out of here. All these thoughts were going through her head. I must try at least She mumbled to herself. Now which one of these was the one that goes closest to RiverClan territory... Not that one She said looking at the one that was so dark. She picked them off one by one until she knew which one to take. Sunpaw limped as fast as she could into and down the tunnel she had chosen, the one that actually ran over to ShadowClan.

Blackpaw heard his naem and wlaked back to the tunnel they were just in but she had dissapeared.He froze.What if she's gone to her clan and is going to betray me.Telling her cla where we are and that we are in love.But then she would be in trouble too.he slumped down.Wait but what if she freaked and now she's trying to get back to her clan.he scanned the tuneels.The middle one lead to Thunderclan the one the left went to Riverlcan. The one on the right goes to Shadowclan and the one behind me goes to Anywhere.He choes Thunderclan's and he padded off.Maybe she thought it was this one.

Sunpaw found herself lost somewhere in ShadowClan territory. She was lost wandering through the thick pine tree forest, trying to find her way back to the tunnels. She was disorientated with all the ShadowClan scent coming at her. It was hard to think straight with that stench. How can they stand it here. It stinks really bad.
Meanwhile Toxicshadow and an apprentice were out hunting. She thought she smelled RiverClan, but would wait and see if the apprentice smelled it too. She could be hallucinating. Scent the air. What do you smell. A sharp tongue said. She didn't want anyone to think she was going soft. Just because she showed some affection to Doompaw did not mean she would be nice to every cat who came up to her. What did they think she would cave that easily. Ha! If any cat so dares to think I'm a nice cat. Ha! I laugh at their idiotic thoughts. Me, Toxicshadow, kind and considerate. Ha! Today was one of those days she felt like proving that she WAS the sharpest tongue in the forest.
