Blackpaw was waiting at the entrance for Sunpaw.His tail kept flicking back and forth, back and forth, back and forth.He sighed.I can't stand waiting for her.She takes so long.He sat down and stoped flicking his tail.Instead he was waiting, waiting, waiting.

Sunpaw walked cautiously making sure no other cat could see her. That is until she saw Blackpaw. Then she stopped suddenly as if she was shocked she didn't make it all up, and ran as fast as she could with a sad attempt at Blackpaw's and other WindClan cat's speed. She ended up looking like a big bear lumbering at a fast speed. Her big paws that were great for swimming did little to help her with speed. Sunpaw skidded to a stop in front of Blackpaw, her chest heaving with the effort she had just put out. I guess.... RiverClan cats... weren't meant to... run fast. She said between gasps of air. She soon caught her breath and laughed I'm never doing that again. She was giggling the whole time she spoke.

He laughed.Your right.You just stick to swimming and I'l stick to running.He laughed again.Ready to learn the tunnel tangle.He turned and walked into the tunnels.He started flicking his tail again.Was your mentor mad at you yesterday?

Sunpaw laughed along with Blackpaw, Yeah I guess we should stick to what we're good at. She looked bright-eyed at Blackpaw Yep, let's learn the tunnels... well, more of just me learning, you teaching. She stopped herself before she started babbling like a fool. She followed him into the tunnels, listening to his question. No, I managed to avoid most of the clan that would tattle, and all that. I would have been in trouble, but it's good that I got back at just the right time and snook in right after a hunting patrol. Everyone thought they had forgotten to tell someone I went with them. Did you get in trouble being late back or something. She felt like a babbling fool describing all that happened that night, but she hoped he wouldn't mind her going on too far.

That'sd good.He laughed.Well both leanr and find new places.All you have to do is memorize like which tunnels lead where but they all will lead to one place n the middle.He sighed.Hey I have and idea.While taching you the tangle we can look for the middle.

Yeah. That sound good. Sunpaw said enthusiastically. The truth was she was happy as long as she was with Blackpaw. She wondered what the tunnels would look like, and what the middle would too. So, they all lead to the middle. How many tunnels are there? She wondered how many tunnels she would have to memorize.

I have no clue.It seems like a gazillion.He laughed.You don't really have to memorize them all but the important ones.Like this one that leads out.Now lets learn and explore.He walked around slowly wshing he could run.He sighed.Ohhh I wanna run so bad.Do you have any frineds in Riverclan

Sunpaw was glad she didn't have to memorize all of the the tunnels, and her relief was shown throughout her body. She walked with ease on the cold wet floor of the tunnels. It was the one thing in this strange place that felt like home. She saw the need to run in Blackpaw's frame. He was tense like a hungry cat in another clan's territory with a plump mouse in front of him. She felt guilty for holding him back, but she knew if she tried to keep up with him she would either fall or fall behind. It was a simple fact, he was built to run and she was built to swim. I'm really friends with everyone in my clan. Not many people get into quarrels with me, so in a way my whole clan is my friend. I don't really have a best friend, or someone that I hang out with all the time yet though if that's what you mean. Do you have any friends in WindClan? Sunpaw felt a current of jealousy flow through her. What if Blackpaw already had a girlfriend, or another she-cat was trying to claim him for herself. It was then that she remembered that he was a medicine-cat and wouldn't have that happen to him.

He nodded.Yeah I kinda guess so.I mean like Redbreast his sister is really nice.He's my mentor and me and him are great friends.I can't really think about many but there are nice cats there who would be my friend.He turned a corrner and stopped.This tunnel is so dark that I've never explored it.Do you want to cause I can go for a dfferent one.

Sunpaw expanded her pupils to attempt to look into the dark tunnel. She wasn't sure she would like to go into it, but she would go if Blackpaw wanted to. She would feel safe with him. I'll go if you want, it seems kinda fun, but then again I don't want to get lost. I trust you though. She said inching closer to him. Her fur was standing on end. She couldn't hide her fright. Sunpaw had never liked not being able to see, and she couldn't see that well into the tunnel.

He figured she was scared.Okay.He slowly walked into the deep dark tunnel.He scented the air.Damp, dusty, and no prey.He sighed.No prey.He stil padded on and he flicked his tail.

Sunpaw padded silently beside Blackpaw. She couldn't see him, so she walked close enough to feel his fur agaist her. She just walked and didn't respond to his statment.

He felt warm with her fur brushing up against him.As they walked forward it began getting lighter.He let out a sigh of relief.He sped up a little bt.Not to much.He pointeed out a paw.Light.He flicked his tail excitedly.

The streaked RiverClan apprentice saw the light too. It was like a beacon pureness reaching out to her. Calling her. She had never been in such a dark place as she had just witnessed. The newly found light was almost blinding as she was speeding up with her crush Blackpaw. Sunpaw felt as if they had just found there way out of a great cave where it was a life or death thing. Here it wasn't though she would make it safely out and her life would remain as if she had never been here.

Blackpaw scented the air and froze.FoxIt didn't take long for him to see the red animal.SUNPAW STOP!!!!He unfroze and slowly stepped forward.I don't know how to fight foxes.What am I going to do?He was panicking.
