You Are A Shadow....2

There was a flood of relief that washed over Toxicshadow. She felt like her family had been saved by the toxic that had found it's way to them. She almost collapsed with all the weight that had been lifted off of her. Her apprentice someone who she held close like family, who had been seriously ill, was recovering. Doompaw would be OK. Thank you, Deathstar, and I forgive you I understand. Toxic knew the leader was only angry, because it was a horrible thing. Don't worry I won't In her voice there was a mix of great relief and sarcasm. She knew everything would be OK, and they could relax a bit.

[TYPICAL RED]

Scarletpaw filled anoother Dock leaf, but this time she filled it with water.
"Opps." She exclaimed as the leaf broke under the weight of water. She tried again, tis time slipping the Dock leaf through the water slowely and carefully.
"There!" She said, and stepped warily out of the den.

When she arrived at Doompaw's side AGAIN, she noticed that Doompaw's breathing had become normal. Carefully, she put the water filled leaf down, and began to move a paw over Doompaw's small body.
"Doompaw?" She asked. "Can you here me? If you can, please tell me were it hurts." Scarletpaw's voice was soft, and filled with releif.
"Thank you, thank you StarClan!" She said under her breath.

Struggling for consciousness, the young cat replied.
"Scarlet-?" No, wait... who was here?
Her little whiskers twitched as she tried vainly to sense who was there and who was not.
She scented fear-no, concern, a strong feeling of unease washed over her mind.
She scented her mentor first and foremost. The scent comforted her, and for once, she didn't let her pride get in the way of that one rare comfort.
Second, she scented her leader. Doompaw found it quite strange that the leader would come to her, but grateful she did so. Then, regret, and finally; fear. Doompaw would be your average troubled teen, a trouble maker and a paw full to say the least. She acted on the first impulse that came to heart, and then thought about it.
She realized there would be dire repercussions to her actions, and wished that she could just die here instead of facing her leaders disappointment once more...
She sniffed again, this time focusing on the third scent that hit her nostrils.
"Scarletpaw? Yeah, yeah I c'n hear you. It don't hurt... not anymore..." The most painful part was the vomiting, Doompaw reflected. "I'm just sore all over..." most likely the stress, her sane mind told her. It was true, through this whole ordeal her body had been tensing and un-tensing periodically, rapidly, and that would do a fair number on ones system, she reckoned.

Toxicshadow let relief continue to wash over her as her apprentice spoke. She didn't want to leave even though she knew Doompaw would be ok. Toxic felt like running through the camp shouting that Doompaw would be ok, but she let only her eyes show how she felt. She didn't know how attached she had come to her apprentice, but she knew she wouldn't let anything happen to her again.

"If you feel well enough, drink the water, then maybe tell us what happened, please" Scarletpaw said softly to Doompaw. Scarletpaw was going through a whole bunch of emotions just then. First she was releived, and then ecstatic, and then worried. Her mind didnt settle on just one emotion. It never did, but this time it was different. If only Talonwing could be here. He would see me doing everything and think... Scarletpaw stopped dead. Her chest was puffed out and her ears and tail stuck up towards the sky. He would think about how iresponsible I am! She thought angerly. I shouldnt have been sleeping, I should have gone to get Deathstar or something! Scarletpaw sank down onto her haunches. Stupid idiot me... She thought curling her tail around her paws.
