[First things first: This thread takes place BEFORE the bobcats arrived, but merely a few days before, so things are pretty stressful.
If you don't know what this thread is about, do not respond.
Squirrelpelt, if you DO reply [you really don't have to, not really] make sure that you don't interact with the other cats, yeah? You're a secrestspy. Teehee.]-RAVEN APPROVED! 100% ORGANIC- It was a casual visit. Thrushwood took a step into Riverclan borders, but only a step. He, Silvertongue, and Ivymoon were supposed to meet here, just for old times sake. They hadn't seen eachother since the last gathering, and Thrushwood could hardly remember the meeting. Had he ben an apprentice? He shook his head. It didn't matter.
There was a sound along the border, and he froze, breathing in the scents wildly.
"Hey Thrushy."
"Ivymoon!" He nuzzled the Shadowclanner's shoulder. "You look worried."
"I'm tresspassing," she spat. "And I can't even tell them it was an accident." Ivymoon noticed Thrushwood's face fall, and she shrugged helplessly. "What d'you expect me to do? Be completely carefree?"
"No, guess not." He rolled his eyes, lowering to a sit.
"Where's Silvertongue?"
"He's comin'."

Mumbling soon became talking, which turned into hysterical, madened, laughter. The tuxedo tom shuffled his paws through dead and fallen leaves. He didn't care if any cat caught him. He was depressed, and found himself hoping to be caught. He was not right. There was something terribly wrong, with Silvertongue.
As he approached the two, one Shadowclan and one Windclan warrior, he began to get even more rowdy, and was almost heard by a pratol, before he staggered up to his two friends. " Hey! IVYMOON!" He giggled wildly, his eyes wide and mad. " THRUSHWOOD! WHAT'S UP?"

"Like I said," Thrushwood laughed, motioning toward the cat. "Here he comes n...now?"
Ivymoon took a step back, her nose twitching. "What the heck is wrong with 'im?"
Thrushwood hissed a warning as their friend came within earshot. He faked a grin. "Hey Silvertongue! You seem quite excited today, any good news?"
"Morning," Ivymoon said stiffly. She narrowed her eyes, watching him. "Silvertongue, what's wrong with you? You've never acted this way before." She added, her ears lowering a notch. "And quiet down a bit, will you? We're tresspassing, for Starclan's sake."
"Since when have you cared?" The other tom shot at her.
"I've always cared," she smirked. "But I was caught a few weeks ago in Thuncerclan territory. I've already got a strike against me, mister perfect-record. Unlike you, I happen to be adventerous; if cats knew I tresspassed, they'd keep their eyes on me the same way Chicoryshard keeps her eyes on Red."
Thrushwood's face fell. He wished she wouldn't joke about that. "Ah-hah, right. That's funny."

Silvertongue laughed wildly. " Good news? Good news?HA!" He paced back and forth-back and forth, his tail lashing with fury. " You know like-like what, Thrushy old buddy, old friend? War? Love loss? Death?" He finally sat heavily beside Ivymoon, where he curled his tail around his tingling paws. He turned to her. " Hah. Wanna know whats wrong with me? Hmm?" He tilted his head slightly to the side, his eyes slitted with anger and despair. " I haven't slept in days! I can't eat-I can't drink...I'm getting my fur ripped off every morning by some love sick mouse brained kit, and I've already got half the clan watching my every move." He sighed, physically and mentally drained. " Besides, it's not trespassing if you were invited ."
As the conversation continued between Thrushwood and Ivymoon, Silvertongue barely listening, he began to let his mind wander a bit. But, at the mention on Chicoryshard, his ears perked and he managed to emit a mocking scoff. " Yeh, well, we all know how popular Redbreast is. Bluejay's not too unfortunate, either." He purred with amusement. Torturing is what friends were for, after all.

The two glanced at eachother. Thrushwood blinked, a blank look on his face. She shrugged helplessly, but grinned. "Y'know, I could always get 'im for ya, if you want me to. Shove him over in Shadowclan terratory, I'll teach 'im a lesson or two." Ivymoon laughed, her tail flicking from side to side.
"Why do you guys tease about that?" Thrushwood whined, digging his claws into the dirt. "You know how I feel about the two."
Ivymoon giggled, glancing at Silvertongue. "Oh, yes. You rant about little-baby-Blue daily. How could we forget?"
"Shut up! I hate Bluejay! And you know it! I hate the pair of them, I can't stand 'em. I wish they were...I..." he broke off with a huff, shaking his head. "You know they ruin my life. They always have. And you act like it's nothing."
"Calm down there, kiddo. Don't break anything." she teased, but Ivymoon glanced at Silvertongue again; all of Thrushwood's friends knew how he felt. She felt a twinge of pity, sighing.

Squirrelpelt had been hunting near the RiverClan border when she came across Ivymoon's scent, but she didn't think anything of it until she noticed that it just crossed right over the border and kept on going. The dark ginger warrior stood there, staring at RiverClan territory until curiosity got the best of her and she darted across the border, following her Clanmates scent. But she thought it through before she just ran across the border. She kept to the shallows, deciding she could handle getting her paws wet as long as she didn't leave a scent behind her, but she did have to duck into the occasional strong smelling bush when a patrol passed by.
By the time she neared the horseplace, she was getting frustrated and wondering just where it was Ivymoon had wandered off too and then she heard someone yowling. "I hate Bluejay! And you know it! I hate the pair of them, I can't stand 'em. I wish they were...I..." Her amber eyes widened slightly at what she'd heard. Bluejay was a friend of hers that she'd met at a gathering recently. And if she remembered correctly, the cat that had said that was her brother...Thrushwood was it? Squirrelpelt shook her head, deciding that it wasn't important, but if they were talking about Bluejay, she'd better stay and figure out if it's anything serious or not.
And so she snuck up the slope towards the Horseplace where she scented the three cats, her quarry Ivymoon being one of them, and slipped under another strong smelling bush to mask her scent. Now, she hoped, she could see them, but they couldn't see or smell her.[/color]

Silvertongue purred with amusement. Chaos! That was his forte. He nodded in agreement with everything Ivymoon was saying, making a forced serious face as he tried to stifle a raucous giggle. But suddenly the conversation became serious, so he stopped and resigned to just listen. After a few moments, a thought popped into his head. A deep thought. A dark thought. A brilliant thought. " You know," He mused, looking over to Ivymoon. " That's a good idea, yours one about Redbreast." He made a slight clicking noise with his tongue with an " Aww...but thats against that silly warrior code isn't it? You know that's such a shame." He turned to Thrushwood. " Red and Blue love each other so much... " Silvertongue paused, waiting to see if the tom was getting his drift. He didn't think he would, so he continued darkly, examining his claw.
" What would poor Reddy do if something terrible happened to his little Blue?" He reached out and slashed a piece of bark in two, his eyes wild with the prospect of death and murder. Silvertongue turned back to Thrushwood, tilting his head to one side, his tone darkly thoughtful and rich with madness. " He'd be....crest fallen..."

Ivymoon gaped slightly, catching on to his suggestion faster than Thrushwood did. "You can't be serious--oh." As he continued, her jaw shut with a click. The younger tom's face lit up with a twisted grin, his eyes narrowed in bitter happieness. She caught Thrushwood's face, glancing back at Silvertongue. He was serious. Okay.
"What are you suggesting?" Thrushwood breathed. "Are...should we...kill her?"
"I don't think that's quite the best idea," Ivymoon said quickly, rising to her four paws. "With all the confusion around the clans, those big cats wandering about and all that, we--"
"It's the perfect set-up, Ivymoon," he interjected, tail curling and uncurling, whipping from side to side. "Those big cats. They'll have to come out of the dark some time."
Her gaze returned to Thrushwood. "Are you saying we blame this on those things?"
He shrugged. "Almost. Let's see..." he paused, lowering his muzzle in thought. "We could do that, you know. Blame them. That's a good idea, Ivymoon."
"But, but I--" she heaved a sigh. "Nevermind." Why not go with it? With these two minds at work, she thought with a slight grin, they'll hardly get anything done.

Silvertongue smiled. Finally, he got it. It seemed that Ivymoon was the smarter one of the group, and she believed that it wouldn't happen, but that didnt stop him from feeling the joy of the hunt. " Yes! Yes! Blame it on the large cats!" He wasn't too sure what they were talking about. This was the first time he'd heard about large cats in the forest, but, what ever. It was a good cover. " Well...lets see..." He said thoughtfully. " When they do come out, you'd have to fight them...right?" He paused. He was stuck on what they could do to kill her.

Squirrelpelt flinched once at the mention of the big cats and had to hold back a gasp when she heard that they were actually plotting to kill Bluejay. The ShadowClan she-cat had met Bluejay at a gathering a few moons back, but already felt like they'd been friends for a lot longer than a few moons. She knew that she'd have to tell her eventually, the information could save her life, but she didn't know when because their Clans were on opposite sides of the lake.
There was always a gathering, but then what if one of them didn't get to go? She shook her head slightly and back up a coupled kittensteps, ready to bolt if the little meeting suddenly broke up and she had to make her way back home before Ivymoon. Her instincts were screaming at her to leave now to give her a head start, but curiosity made her stay to see if she could overhear anything else that she could use to help Bluejay avoid the attempt on her life.

"I suppose so..." Thrushwood purred, his eyes sparkling. "Of course we would! They're tresspassing! Redbreast said he and a patrol saw one of them, siad he and them tried to tell it to leave, but it flicked its tail at them and went further in the lands. They followed it and it wasn't 'till they started biting at it and stuff that the big cat left."
"They didn't get attacked?" She asked, shocked.
"Five cats against one of those blubbering things, c'mon, use your head." He snapped.
Ivymoon's eyes narrowed to slits, but her mind was calculating. She was nearly worried now. Their plans were getting intricate, now, the insane one's getting smart, she thought nervously. To prove her her disapproval, she dug her claws into Thrushwood's leg.
"Ivy!" He yowled, pulling away and scowling. "But anyway, they ain't gonna leave until you're violent, and if there's more, there might be a big 'ole war or something. "Why?"

Silvertongue smiled his wicked smile, yellow fangs poking through his scarred chin. Thrushwood had the motivation, and the ideas were all Silvers. Together they made a perfect pair. Why, the bobcats were just pawns; little distractions for them to carry out their little deed. " It could be a community service," He reasoned aloud, seeing Ivymoon's concern growing. He needed to keep the peace up until the action started, and Ivymoon was a good cat to have on their side... especially since Bluejay has so many Shadowclan friends, he thought. " Why, we would be doing the clans a favor. Ivy you wouldn't want a selfish, whiny, griping cat like Bluejay become leader of Windclan would you? One who'dbe more'n happy to take a chunk of Shadowclan territory." He stood, jumping on the raised roots of an old tree. " Look here, that would be a discrace to the forest and to the warrior code. That would be irresponsible and endangering your clan should you let that happen." He paused, hoping his play on her clan hit her a bit closer to home. " And besides, don't you want to help and support your dear friend in his time of need? Will you not give him the moral support he requires during this rough time?" he looked over toward Thrushwood, hoping he would start looking fairly sad and depressed. He was trying to play on Ivymoons heart strings, however he found it hard to believe she had any. He tried anyway. " Think of all he's done for you. Have you no shame?"
He turned back to Thrushwood, answering his question. " Well, if there were to be a battle between you Windclanners and the big cats, well you could kill Bluejay in the heat of battle and easily blame it all on the big cats, wouldn't you?"

Ivymoon's ears lowered a notch. "No, no, I couldn't see Bluejay as a leader. She would probably become power-hungry, wanting to take over all the clans." The words flowed from her mouth, though she hardly believed them. "Moral support?" she asked, pulling her head back. Ivymoon began to laugh. "As if he's done a thing for me!"
Thrushwood, catching Silvertongue's glance, pouted. "I've been your good friend, Ivymoon..." He noticed her glare in his direction, forcing his eyes to moisten, his ears and tail to droop.
Her eyes narrowed. "You'll never let me live it down if I didn't help you. Fine." She spat, her tail shaking. "That's the plan, then?"
He nodded excitedly. "Perfect, Silvertongue, perfect! You two could help distract Redbreast; no doubt he'll cling to her side."

Silvertongue nodded solemnly to Ivymoon, hoping to make her believe what she was agreeing to. He then turned to Thrushwood; " Yes, we can distract him. How, though..." his tail twitched with thought. " One of us can pretend to be injured...he is a medicine cat, right? So he'd be inclined to help us." Silvertongue sat gently. He was begging to become very tired, and it was now very noticeable. But he was content to sit there and help his two friends. He actually felt better being with them. He laughed slightly. Silvertongue sighed heavily. He'd hurt himself already, and had a bit of a limp to him. His back leg was always sore now, and he stretched it to give it a few messaging licks. He winced; I wish I had some poppy seed, he thought. " He'd have to help. And Starclan knows there will be many injuries. "

Ivymoon's mind began to think in the way her friends were, and it made her feel uncomfortable. "We could always distract other cats too," she muttered, rolling her shoulders. "There will be four medicine cats there, we need to make a situation where all four must be busy all at once. I mean, if one of us were injured and Bluejay was still fighting, he may as well get Talonwing or another to help us."
"Good thinking, you two," Thrushwood gave a toothy grin in Ivymoon's direction, batting her paw. "That's the spirit, Ivy."
"...Thrushwood? Is that you? Who are you talking with?"
The tom cursed under his breath, about to open his mouth to tell his friends to leave; but Bluejay poked her head out of the undergrowth behind him before he could even breath a syllable. He could feel her eyes on his back, glaring and angry. His ears lowered a bit.
Bluejay leaped from the bushes, her claws unsheathed, teeth bared. "What is this, Thrush?" she hissed. "You let cats tresspass?"
"Listen, young thing--" Ivymoon began, but the young Windclan warrior, quick as lightening, struck her across the cheek with a set of claws. A low growl began in her throat, her head turned painfully to one side, blood beginning to swell on the wound. "I'm gonna--"
"Leave now," Thrushwood said quickly, taking a step between the two she-cats. "Isn't that right, Ivymoon? We were just talking, Bluejay, you don't need to get your little sour nose into it."
His sister looked offended. "You're kidding, Thrushwood. You know these...these..." she seemed to be struggling for the right word. "These...mouse-brained idiots? You and I should beat them where they stand for tresspassing. Are you stupid enough to let them get by without even a threat?"
"I'm not stupid," he spat. "And these cats happen to be my friends."
"That makes sense," she laughed cruelly, her eyes blazing. "Stupid and stupid and stupider, I get it." She looked the two cats up and down, snorting.
Ivymoon's eyes narrowed to slits, lifting her top lip as a threat.
"I'm not scared of either of you," Bluejay spat at them, kicking dirt in their direction. "If I ever catch your scents again," Bluejay warned, taking a step back from the group to leave. "I will tell Elkstar, and we'll kill you." With that, she took off into the forest.
The Windclan tom glanced at his friends. "Perhaps we should...continue this...later."
"She struck me," Ivymoon cried, spitting with fury. "The little brat struck me!"
