Talonwing diverted his eyes from her gaze for a moment as she seemed to look away as well. I need to learn to listen to Stonewood instead of argue with him. However he probably wouldn't have told me anything else! Oh Starclan forgive me for what I am about to do! He took a deep breath and shifted closer to Leopardfire. "Something has attacked Windclan, and I'm guessing whatever they were will come for Thunderclan next" Concern shone brightly in his eyes, if something happened to Thunderclan he would never feel right again.

"Windclan! What was it, and it comes to Thunderclan next!" She suddenly relized that she was just restating everthing he just said. Taking a deep breath she looked at him. "I was shone a paw print, one to big for any cat I know. Could this all be related?" She asked, not knowing where the kits fit into all this, but that didn't matter. Both Shadowclan and Thunderclan recived warning, about different things and from different medicine cats then their own. "Why would Starclan let this happen?" Her voice was no more then a whisper now as she looked at her paws, scared to know the truth behind the warnings.

Talonwing listened closely, he was indeed worried for Thunderclan, but he didn't know why. He shifted closer to Leopardfire and rested his tail on her shoulder, "It's ok, it's ok. They might be related. You should talk to your leader when you get back." He paused. "I don't know" he said quietly before looking to her again. "Honestly I don't know why I received a warning for Thunderclan. Did you receive something for...Shadowclan?" Normally he wouldn't ask anything about another medicine cats dreams, but he felt like he needed to.

"My mentor met me in my dream, and he showed me these kits, and he said. The shadow has come Leopardfire, noting will stop it." She thought for a minute, what did it all mean, and why was she even talking about it with him. She looked into his eyes, searchig for something, still just the sight of him made every muscle in her body tingle. Finally she relized what the feeling was and she gasped. This isn't right, why do I feel this way! She looked away as quickly as possible and let out a long breath, trying to calm herself down. She was here to help her clan, nothing more.

Talonwing shifted slightly and let his tail drop back to the ground softly. He wanted to comfort Leopardfire, to tell her everything was going to be okay and that he wasn't going to let anything happen to her. But of course, he couldn't. Instead he sat there listening to Leopardfire. "Kits? Do you think whatever attacked Windclan will." He paused, not knowing what to think. "Do you think whatever attacked Windclan is the shadow? A shadow that has fallen over the clans?" Little did he know, that guess was completely wrong.[/color]

Leopardfire thought about this for a moment, thinking about what to say. "Maybe, but then I don't understand how the kits fit into that?" She was still concerned, some where at sometime kits would be born, six of them and she wanted to be there to help the mother through that. Little did she know now, she would be the mother that would give the birth. "Still if a shadow falls over all the clans we need to warn them, and we need to be ready." She looked into his eyes, the trust she felt for him was more then she ever had with any one else. It scared her, but at the same time comferted her, she sighed.

How do the six kits fit into that? Good question. Talonwing sighed and let his head drop, eyes closed. Exactly, where do they come in? He sat there, thinking to himself before finally looking up and meeting Leopardfire's eyes. He had never fallen in love with anyone before, he wasn't allowed to. But was the feelings being passed between them that? or was it minor? A small feeling that could flower into something bigger? Something better? He trusted Leopardfire, and his heart ached with a feeling he had never felt before. He swallowed nervously, his eyes unguarded, his eyes showing his emotions clearly, he responded. "I think. I think that the thing that got Windclan is still here. I think that maybe it is just simply waiting to destroy us. We do need to warn the clans. But...when.?" His voice dropped to a whisper as he continued to stare into her eyes, "How?"

She watched him as he thought. They both could feel the feelings passing through them. Still would either of them act on it. She shook her head slowly, we are medicine cats, we can't! Still she knew it felt right to her to be with Talonwing. Did he feel the same way. She cleared her mind for a moment to think about what he said. "It needs to be soon, but how I don't know. We don't even now what we are dealing with, all we know is that whatever it is, it is strong." She never let her eyes even move away from his. Her heart beet quickened for a moment and then slowed back to normal. "We clan do this, together." She smiled, trusting every bone in his body.

Talonwing shivered as several thoughts passed through his mind, he knew he was a medicine cat and shouldn't feel attracted, or love, for another cat. Especially a medicine cat. He swallowed and nodded at Leopardfire's words. Taking a deep breath he looked to Leopardfire then to the stars, then he spoke. "Leopardfire, have you ever felt a certain way towards someone that was against the warrior code? Have you ever...felt that way?" He looked from the stars and into Leopardfire's eyes, waiting for her response, silently hoping that she would not threaten his honor, or hurt his feelings.[/color]

A million thoughts raced through her head at once. She didn't know what to say, she knew what she wanted to say, but she just couldn't find the words. She took in a long breath and spoke quietly, "yes, yes I have." She slowly lifted her head meeting his gaze. She tried to smile, but she was frozen. She knew it was wrong, but she loved him. She kept her gaze locked on his wondering what he would do know. What if he didn't mean me? What if I was wrong?

He looked shocked, and if not shocked flustered. He shifted slightly but awkwardly, his tail brushing her paws. He had looked away but now again looked up, trying to calm himself and his nerves down. He loved Starclan, but he loved Leopardfire more. It had started as a friendly liking when he first meet her, but now it had blossomed into something more, or so he hoped. His pale tan paws shifted slightly as he made himself comfortable yet again. He struggled for words "So I'm not the only one?" He hoped to Starclan he hadn't read her wrong, he silently hoped that she liked him too. But then again nerves got the best, almost.[/color]

Leopardfire sat still for a long moment, she knew that she just had to say it and hope for the best. Still what if he didn't like her back, what if she was just thinking he did because she liked him, no loved him. She shifted her wheight from paw to paw diciding what to do. Finally she made up her mind, it was time to just come out with it. "Talongwing I," she paused finding herself at a lose of words. "Well you see," she closed her eyes and tilted her head up to the sky. "I need to say something," she took in a deep breath. "Talongwing I love you." She blurted it out and turned her face away, what will he say, what will he do! Oh Starclan I am sorry, but the feeling it too much to ignore.
