The bright stars glimmered above, shinning through the black sky lighting the path for the four cats. The half moon shone above leading the way up the hill. Leopardfire was the first of them to reach the entrance. She turned to look at the others before pushing through. Once on the other side she moved over so the others could join her. Looking around her eyes grew wide, still there was no other sight she loved more then the Moonpool. Moving her way down the cool stone she sat with her tail rapped around her paws. Her orange-red eyes looked at the others as they joined. "Welcome all to the Moonpool." She spoke calm and clear.

Sunmist stared around her in awe, her hooded head twisting from side to side. Cool stone clicked underneath her claws as she followed the other medicine cats down towards the starred pool. Her orange brown eyes were wide with wonder. Her tail was held high in anticipation and quiet excitement. " Wow..." She breathed quietly, ears perked. Her heart was pounding. Suddenly, she heard a voice, and turned her attention towards the calm Thunderclan medicine cat.

Redbreast followed behind Leopardfire, glancing about him without moving his head. He was amazed, yes; he was fond of the Moonpool. The large tom shook his fur as he entered, glancing back at Sunmist, chuckling at her reaction. Sunmist, Leopardfire, and...Talonwing. He was glad he could remember their names; Redbreast was never very good at that sort of thing, and he hadn't met the three other medicine cats for awhile. Not much a meeting, really. More of a nod and a brisk introduction, if he remembered correctly.
As Leopardfire spoke, his eyes followed Sunmist's, and he nodded at the other [seemingly calmer] she-cat. He was only half there, really. His mind was elsewhere. Bluejay would be surprised not to see him when she woke up, but she'd be fine. Redbreast smirked. Thrushwood would be more than happy if Redbreast returned after sunrise, he knew. Little brat.

The night stars shone bright, a great night for the meeting. Ears flicking backwards Talonwing padded faster, he was late. Bright green eyes gazing at the tail of the Windclan Medicine cat as he slipped through the brush. Picking up speed Talonwing's heart raced, because of the past problems they haden't had a medicine cat meeting in ages, he didn't even remember what half of them looked like. Pushing through the bushes he looked from Redbreast, to Sunmist and finally to Leopardfire. He froze and shook off his surprise, he directed his attention elsewhere. Flicking his tail to his side he nodded, "Evening".

Leopardfire looked around taking in a moment to look at each one in turn. She closed her eyes and looked to the stars. "Tonight we are brought together by Starclan to receive wisdom and warning." She turned her gaze down and caught Talonwing in her eye sight. She quickly moved her gaze away and waited for another to speak. A swift breeze blew across the stone, sending some pebbles rolling down the slope, but not of them touched the crystal clear waters. She smiled, in a long time none of them had spoken to Starclan, but now they were brought together under the half moon to speak with Starclan together.

She looked from the Thunderclan to the Shadowclan cats in confusion. What...? She wondered. I-it's nothing, I'm just imagining it. But still... she cast a nervous glance at Redbreast, the Windclan cat. Sunmist spoke hesitantly. " And-we...receive these wisdoms and warnings very-" She searched for the right words, not knowing what else to say. " wisely..." She concluded quickly, shaking her head in embarrassment. Idiot.

[Baw, I don't know what to do here. /shot]
Redbreast eyed the Shadow and Thunderclan medicine cats, glancing at Sunmist to see if she noticed anything. Their eyes met; at least he knew he wasn't going insane.
Was it his turn to speak? He opened his jaw but froze in mid-breath, turning his head to one side. Damnit. He was too new at this. What to say? "We welcome this gift from Starclan whole-heartedly," he said slowly, deciding to say the first thing that came into his head. "And while I don't know exactly what to say," he continued, slowly. "May Starclan grant me said wisdom to saywhat I must." Proud of himself, he felt his fur relax. Not too shabby, he complimented. It could have been worse.

Talonwings gold colored eyes drifted across the other faces of the medicine cats. He had been a medicine cat since his mentor was killed, a sad way to catch the throne but it worked. He took a deep breath then spoke, "Let starclan give us a vision of the future, whether it be good or bad." Letting his tan paws turn him to the moonpool he padded forward and gazed into it. "Many seasons this pool has helped starclan talk to us, let it serve us that way again." Pulling his tail to his side he sat and looked over his shoulder towards the other medicine cats. The white and black she-cat dipped her head. A smile came across her face as Sunmist and Redbreast spoke. She was the oldest medicine cat here, she could tell that. Some of them were very young, and she would do her best to help and guide them. She walked over to the edge of the Moonpool on the left side of Talonwing, still a few fox lengths away. She laided down and let her tail rap around her side. She waited for the others, looking to the sky she could see they still had enough moonlight left.

Sunmist, feeling increasingly stupid, saw the other medicine cats laughing at her. Not mocking her, like when a warrior laughs at a brand new apprentice who's just learning to hunt. Knowing that they werent mocking her didn't help, however, and she hung her head in embarrassament anyways. She felt envy towards Redbreast who's statement worked way better than hers and, as she followed the other medicine cats towards the pool, wondered how she would fare facing starclan for only the second time. She lay down nervously on the right side of Talonwing, and gazed up at the stars. Dont mess up.

The last cat the the pool, Redbreast sat himself beside Sunmist, giving her a reassuring smile. 'Least he wasn't alone in this, he figured. It could be worse. They could be laughing, he thought, the tip of his tail flicking absentmindedly. He had expected to feel nervous, but he felt only a sense of pride as he narrowed his eyes fondly at the pool's water.
Wouldn't Thrushwood be happy to see this? He asked himself, twitching his nose. He'd love to see me fail at something. But maybe I didn't fail at this; no, I don't think I did. Thoughts rushed through his mind and wracked his brain; his outside appearence, however, was calm and cool.

((Each color is assigned to a different cat. For instance maroon will be Sunmists dream)) Talonwings calm gaze moved to Sunmist Poor kid. Waiting for Redbreast to seat himself he turned towards the water, knelt down, and lapped up a few droppes. Let us all have the dreams of our ancestors
Mist rolled down the moonlit hills of this barren terrain. The cool breeze moved the grasses as if it was a dream land, well was it? Redbreast was crouched in the center of a clearing, seated next to a plool. Behind him a silhouette of a tomcat appeared, slinking through the brush. His bright eyes landed on the orangey pelt of Redbreast. A small smile flashed onto his face, he moved forward and stood just behind the young medicine cat. "Hello Redbreast"
The lush green grass bobbed slightly in the cool summertime breeze. Beautiful yellow flowers glowed in the evening sunlight, the time of day that the sun was going down and the moon was rising. Leopardfire was located on a small patch of moss laying next to a pool and a stream. Just infront of her a calm, collected, cat moved into the clearing, his kind eyes keeping to Leopardfire. He padded forward, placed his paw in the water and flicked some onto her face. "Hey! Leopardfire, hello?"
Water rushed around the young medicine cats paws as she lay crouched on a small island in the riverclan terratory. The reeds snapped as water rushed over them, the stones shifting and grasses whipping. Above, in the sky, stars twinkled and looked like they were falling, but only in a manner. Padding forward a large tom moved to the island adjacent to Sunmist. His stern, yet loving eyes gazed upon the medicine cats pelt. "Sunmist".
Talonwing lay in the middle of a deserted clearing, no wind, no noise, just silence. Shaking his head and opening his golden eyes he looked around nervously. From the left of the clearing a deep growl rose, turning he spoted a large tom cat, crouched and ready to strike. Baring his teeth Talonwing flattened himself to the ground as the large tom catapaulted towards him. Teeth flashed, claws lashed and yowles rose.

Leopardfire lifted her gaze from the water as droplets splashed in her eyes. A soft purr rumbled from her throat. "Greetings Lightchaser!" She smiled and looked around. "Do you have a message from Starclan for me?" She asked happy to see the old medicine cat, but still worried that something might be wrong, or something bad might be coming. She sat down and rapped her tail around her paws, waiting to hear what he would say. She looked to the sky, the purple glaze was being washed out by the black of the night.

Sunmist's mouth dropped open at the sound of her old mentors deep mrrow. his white pelt shining in the moonlight, his soft blue eyes were rippling with stern love and wisdom beyond anything Sunmist had ever seen before. His voice sounded harsh and commanding, and she wondered if she were in any sort of trouble. " G-Galeface..." she shook with anger and greif. Why him? She hadn't spoken to him since he'd taken his own life with the death berries all those moons ago. And, to be honest with herself, she wasn't expecting to. " Hello." She whispered, bowing her head in respect. " What have you to share with me tonight, Galeface...?"

Starclan, Redbreast thought, sucking in a breath. What a place! Bluejay would love it here, he thought, opening his eyes and sitting up. At the sudden sound of a voice his eyes widened, eyes darting to the side. Redbreast exhaled, keeping calm. Starclan, he thought again. Who is this you've sent me? "What is your message?" Redbreast asked slowly, blinking slow, breathing steady. He stared straight ahead, off into the distance. "What do you have to tell me?" He wanted to ask who the cat was; he really did. His brain huffed, tugging his heartstrings. It'd be better not to know, he realized.
